Now that TIME is available in my condo, I would check with you guys on the installation part of things. I'm trying to avoid opening up holes in the plaster ceiling and cables running here and there.

So I was thinking of putting the ONU in the store room, which is closest to the main entrance, and then use homeplug (see below link) to connect to the power socket in the store room.

Then at the TV area, I will have another homeplug, and connect to the wireless router using a network cable from the homeplug. Do you think this will work well?

Yeah, that's true... that's why I'm still debating between the 100mbps or the 20mbps package. I THINK 100 gb may suffice, I'm not THAT big a downloader. But that's why I'm opting free month trial, to see if it's enough, lol.

Still = super speed, temptation to download more stuff grows. I suppose there's some way to monitor your gb usage?

Based on your link, Unifi is still more expensive than Time though. The difference I suppose is the added HyppTV, but it's a moot point for me since I barely use it (I haven't turned it on for months, lol).

By the way, I was told by a sales guy that if you subscribe to the 100 mbps package, you cannot switch over to the unlimited 10/20/30/50 mbps, or vice versa, due to them having different systems. Is that true?

Im using wireless connection. When i test the speed in time.com.my, it can reach 40mbps..but when i test with speedtest.net, it is only 10mbps after boost.

I'm also facing the even after the boost, my speed test still showing the 7mb++ speed on both speedtest.net and time website. Using both wireless (5GHz) and wired, both also the same result. I have even restart the modem, I really hope to know if time dot net still fulfilling their promise on the 50mb boost, or it has become a joke.....

I really feel bad on this, I still saw the boosting count down still going on, nothing I can do on it, this is bad.... If TIME is aware of this problem at yet to do something to fix the problem, it show they didn't do their best to fulfill their promise.

Finally installed 100mb, if I am using LAN cable directly to the Time's router, I can get download and upload speed of around 90mb/sec.
However, if I use my iPhone 6 connect to the router, the max I am get is around 40mb.
Is this normal? Anything I need to configure?
The router I am using is ZTE ZXHn H298N

Look like im not alone. Resolved by changing to other public DNS. Now can surf freely

Last time didnt notice the problem when using 5mb line.
I have extra router which is TP-Link TL-WR1043ND, can it achieve at leat 80mb/90mb through wireless? Dont want to waste my time to setup if it can't.
Any router to recommend so that I can research and read more?
