my bro just installed Astro IPTV + Time broadband.
Normally the installer will set what wifi password for the router network?
the wifi network name is his name, and he checked the service form, there is no mention of wifi password.
He called the customer service helpline, they say the installer will only call him back tmr.

Hi Bro,

Very simple, get a Network cable, connect to any port of the Linksys Router, login with default password (pm you later),
Go to Wireless-->Wireless Security, and you can change from there. Remember to click Save settings when done.

Thanks.

I have a problem and I think its due to TIME network.

Whenever I click on a link instead of open up the said site, it will open up those advertisement type of website on another tab and I have to try few times before the right website is open.

I kept getting those page for online gaming, or those stated that u won a price etc.

How do I get rid of it? Whenever my device is connected to the wireless internet I will get those pages..if my phone on mobile data, I would not have such problem.

Hope someone can assist. Thanks.

It has nothing to do with my devices infected with malwares. I have tried on my lenovo tab, ipad, my laptop and my phones. All having same issues whenever the devices connected to TIME wireless connection.

When my phones are on its own data network I did not have such issues at all.

Hi Bro,

Are you having the same problems when connected to other non-mobile providers such as TM Streamyx/Unifi ?

Please pm me your screenshots of those browser ads.

Hi Bro,

Yes, this is actually an improvement that we have been requesting for more than 2 years.

Now you can perform your Free Boost, Check your Bill & Pay your Bill via Master/Visa Card all at ONE PORTAL, rather than the previous confusing one which split into 2 portals with 2 sets of login credentials.

Thanks.

It has everything to do with the same website you're trying to access across all the devices mentioned.

No disabling pop-up will not help since they're using malicious code with JScript.

The 1st thing you want to do is try DISABLING Java plug-in and Javascript in your browsers. Also make sure pop-up is disabled in your browser settings.

After this try accessing the site which you experienced this problem. See if it goes away.

This problem is due to bad leaks in JScript coding. Many complained about this issue before to Mozilla FF development team but they say they can do nothing to their browser because it's JAVA's problem.

I did not experience that when the devices connected to other service provider and not from the same website.

I've attached some of the screenshots from my iPad.

Chances are that your previous ISP were filtering those pop-up ads via its transparent proxy servers and private IP addressing didn't work with them.

Time DNS servers are not filtering them for you.

There's a good solution that might solve your problem totally. Install a good ad-blocker such as Ad-block Plus and update its list to the latest. It should solve your problem immediately.
