Updated iOS 8.4 on iPad mini 1. Came from iOS 6.0.x.

I can say the device performance has improved over iOS 6. I turned on " reduce motion " and reduce transparency in Accesibilty option.

One obvious improvement is on Facebook. The content pops up within 2 seconds. It took more than 5 seconds in iOS 6 and an older version of Facebook. Software improvement and efficiency are evident here.

Anxiously looking forward to iOS 9 👍🏼

Very soon. But iOS 8.4 is a worthy upgrade in my opinion. Tweaks here and there. Just to create some excitement before the next upgrade arrive.

after days of testing, iOS 8.4 is working very well on my 1st Gen ipad mini. Safari doesn't crashed and is working well with a few tabs opened. But of course, it would need to be refreshed from tab to tab.... But it doesn't crash anymore unlike in iOS 6. It was pretty bad in iOS 6.

Guys, a few users here (and non-users) are facing problems downloading/updating apps in the App Store via Unifi. Can you guys try it out and see if you guys can download an app? You guys can start off by trying to download a small app/game (2mb-10mb) and see if it downloads. If it does, try downloading a larger app/game (500mb-1gb). Please report your finding in this thread. Please provide as much information as possible. The very least you guys can do is provide your findings as such;

Small app: Successful (fast, average speed, really slow) / Fail (Stuck at waiting, keeps circling, etc)

Big app: Successful (fast, average speed, really slow) / Fail (Stuck at waiting, keeps circling, etc)

ISP : Streamyx, Maxis Fibre, Unifi, etc

Can u elaborate more? Looks like ur cable or usb port problems. Besides, u need to make sure ur space in drive c is enough to backup.
