Not sure if that can make any difference. I bought this 32-inch full HD LCD TV for 1999 MYR. I hope to use it for many many year to recoup the 'investment'. Perhaps I need a roof top antenna, but I do not want the TV to be fried by lightning.
I use regular antenna with booster and dunno what the cable name. The regular coaxial cable can get the digital signal.
yes, i also have tried using rf antenna cable, also can get the digital signal. so it really depends on your tv, got build in digital tuner or not.
what if government turn off analogue transmission by 2020, i think u are force to buy the box later on or u will not get any more free broadcast by just using the aerial.
Any TV will do, even CRT, but to enjoy the full experience, a full HDTV is preferred. If your TV doesn't have in-built digital TV, you will have to get one.

How do you explain those who are deprived of digital TV outide Klang Valley with no fibre optic or cable TV?
