I will not buy refurbished set. Refurbished set is those have issue and return back to factory, change spare part or etc. and return back to market. If you lucky you probably get a very good unit, if not then you may need to paid more for the repairement as refurbished set normally no warranty or very short warranty period.
ah, too bad, not based in MY. otherwise, it would be a good option my neighbourhood very safe, leave bicycle/electric skateboard out in my driveway unlocked for 2 years also no one touch.
oh ya, if you could look at the previous post, seems like the black of the U2723QE pretty odd
idk whether it's my eyes or what...it seems like the U2515h does better black than the U2723QE? so called IPS black technology.... even when the display is switched off, it still look the same as full black while on
left U2515h, right U2723QE
left U2515h, middle U2723QE, right Pro Display XDR
That right monitor is IPS black? OMG! No different as normal IPS to me and bleeding is bad and it still cost RM 3,009.00 now. Truly disappointment.

not only it bleed bad, the matte coating even worst yeap, that's IPS black..expectation for IPS black way too high, turns out really bad. but luckily it's just a side monitor, my eyes still prefer the XDR
Lucky don't have more than 60hz IPS black, else I am one of the victim as well. The 60hz only stop me from purchasing it. 😅
The XDR is a freaking awesome monitor! I keep looking at it everytime I step in Apple store. 😅😅

A lot of people recommended IPS screen and not VA Panel, which i can understand but I am perplexed when I looked into Samsung 4k monitor including their new Smart Monitor, M7 and M8, all are VA panels and not IPS.
Does VA Panel in this newer samsung monitor really still bad?
And does 4k HDR for OTT contents, meaning i can stream netflix in 4k? And also i am looking at 28" UHD Monitor - R55, not sure this is a 4K monitor or not, since i dun see the 4k word in Samsung website https://www.samsung.com/my/monitors/high-re...lu28r550uqexxs/
Samsung basically all product is VA or OLED only. They is very few VA is good, the rest all is bad. The model you mentioned is indeed 4K and IPS but it is a value model, don't expect very good thing and it also don't have HDR.
Thank you so much for that, from your ultra wide thread I also managed to know the website rting, which have a very good review in monitors and from there the agak agak budget punya 4K monitor shall be the Samsung Odyssey Neo 8 (32 inch) , from there i think the HDR is good enough? although may not be true HDR
Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is RM 6.5k official (now around RM 6k can get) and this monitor got scan line issue when set as 240hz. The HDR performance is good.
Another lower model Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 wise is RM 5.5k official (now around 4.8k can get). This one HDR also good but it is only 165hz, good thing is they is no scan line issue.
Both is premium monitor with 1000+ Local Dimming Zone with mini-LED in VA. Both basically no ghosting issue, no black smearing and very fast respond time with HDR 1000 capable. The cons is both is bad viewing angle which is the characteristic of VA panel.

Any idea if we will get this model in Malaysian market or is it already being brought in? Seems like a nice budget 1440p 240hz monitor (USA msrp $300), I would immediately buy this for fortnite and valorant
EDIT: photo seems typo, it should be 27 inch
What panel also not mentioned, also since when got HDR350... HDR400 is the lowest and it is already bad. This 350 nits? They better make it SDR only monitor.
This will not be a good monitor, especially if it is VA or TN panel.

which one do you recommend? I don't work with photography, but i do want to watch movies/shows with it, maybe in the future might consider adding in console gaming, but dont think i play competitively.
After few day research is that getting a wqhd better or just a normal 27 QHD ? But lg oled also catch my eyes … really dunno which to get 1st cos I already using dual monitor , any sifu can recomend ?
I will suggest go for any brand of 34" 3440x1440 QD-OLED. You will impress how stunning the image quality especially on HDR performance.
