To me 1/6 or 1/7 is the sweet spot, because many 1/6 scale accessories made for hot toys will go long well with these scales of figures. Makes my life easier when it comes to figure photgraphy. But big figures are a nightmare if i want to do something at a large scale; setups for smaller figures like Phat's Yatogami Tohka is already plenty huge.

I see. I guess I'll be collecting between 1/8 and 1/6 since I use detolfs to display my pieces. A lot of my favorite stuff is also made in 1/8 hahaha.
And these PVC figs are easier to use with any risers since they come with the base.

I'm not sure about my parcel's weight, but I have GSC's Frau Koujirou on the way and the shipping for her by EMS is 2160yen. Lower than I expected, probably she doesn't have a huge box. I wouldn't buy from amiami if the box is giant like Godoka, Dark Olivia, IBRS etc. Not only EMS will be super expensive, almost guaranteed will be taxed by customs as well.

Meh, I'll just probably wait for ToyPanic to bring them in. It seems that they are. So, I'm definitely getting that Sol Badguy. Love the character, and loved the game. Btw, checked out your page and blog. Cool reviews and tutorials dude!

That seller is a well known bootleg seller lol. They also sell on lelong.com.my. The cheapest Iris so far is still AF Hobby, at RM360. That is a fair price but i have other priorities, and i need to monitor my preorders that are delayed to October.
But i have seen them sell some genuine figures, but otherwise everything else is bootleg.

Im indeed interested in Iris, but her outfit (diving suit) makes it hard to get photography ideas. I thought of a cave by the sea before - which is the best idea, but the hard part isnt making a cave from scratch (I know how, but a tedious process), but finding a large yet shallow basin that is transparent to contain the water and make the water blue. The execution is the hard part. Seas look green or blue because of depth but in a scale diorama i will need artificial means to achieve it. Going outdoors to the beach is too mainstream. lol

Frau arrived =3 EMS = get detained by customs =.= TWICE. Once in KLIA, once in Butterworth, but it's just a 8800yen figure (EMS 2160yen).

Im from Bukit Mertajam to be precise, with the parcel sent to my campus near Sg Petani. Yup, 1st time a parcel from Japan sent directly to my campus' student affairs office then i pick it up from there. The parcel passed through a 2nd customs check in B'worth somehow, dunno why.

Surprised lol. So u guys going for comic fiesta mini this weekend I guess? I'm studying in SP but always in BM on weekends. I guess there's nothing much to see in terms of figures there, might be expensive. But I wanna avoid buying too many cosplayer merchandise/photobooks if possible. >.<

Time square, both saturday and sunday from 10am. Entry ticket per day is RM10.
There's guest cosplayers on Sunday, Aza Miyuko, Misa, Angie, etc. I might go on both days, need to buy photobooks on saturday first in case it sells out. Photobooks or posters = autograph session = can take photos together. Though, o already got a very nice photo with Miyuko together 2 months back during Cosplay League in Straits Quay.

Will there be figures displayed?
To be honest, I felt out of place when I went to a mini event at Island plaza earlier this year.
