Am i the only one thinking she is actually nopan already? In traditional japanese culture when they wear such outfits (including kimono) they are supposed to go commando. Both top and bottom. hmm.gif

water, and soap if its oily stain.
If its paint from cast-off parts, its quite difficult and very risky to do it.

My latest figure shot. Something different once in a while; landscape isn't my forte and this is actually my first shot done during a sunrise, at the jetty off to Jerejak Island off the east coast of Penang Island, Malaysia.

Involved a lot of trial error (while having very little time to make adjustments) and that patience needed for the water on the ground to reflect the sunlight.

When I saw the spoiler below the photo, I was half expecting the usual behind-the-scenes pics of all the elaborate props you used... biggrin.gif I must say, this looks and feels very different compared to your previous projects... The more prop-focused ones were much more distinct, and I could probably tell 9 out of 10 times which photos were taken by you... If it weren't for the logo on the bottom of this one, I never would have guessed this was done by you...Overall, a refreshing departure from your usual style...Looking forward to more such photos (hope you don't discontinue doing awesome props though, as those are still my fav...)... thumbup.gif

P.S: Don't be lazy, click on the MFC link and check out the full resolution pic, what you guys see here really doesn't do it any justice...

Thanks biggrin.gif Actually 90% of all occasions you will see me doing a mix of diorama/portraits, Im lazy to go out, but variety is important to me. For Menma, it just had to be the beach - and since beaches are mainstream i wanted to make sure mine look a bit different so i studied on landscape shots, what the photographers of this field usually do, online first. And i guess it was an ok result for my first time trying to shoot a sunrise. It isn't perfect but acceptable for something done for the first time.

The feeling, it's very different, at moments you can call it frustration or stressful at times because you dont have much time to get things right and change settings before that moment is over. And it is hard to tweak settings as fast as i usually do because the camera is inverted and very close to the ground. That said i still lost to a Nisekoi pic in race for POTD because fanbase is the main weapon to beat my photos. People vote for characters they like instead of the quality of the photo.

Meanwhile I ordered Phat's Jougasaki Mika ady, due to the pose and base it is hard to have ideas, but i already figured out 2 ideas for this one.
Amiami has a history of selling out idolmaster figures so i dont want to wait any longer. 12,720yen including EMS. I think she will be shipped out on tomorrow tuesday, i just paid on saturday.

This shot if i meniarap on floor to shoot 95% confirm my shots will all be blurred. I used ND filters (darkening/light reduction filters) with blue filters to create that beautiful sky, which means i have to use very slow shutter speed (also for a smoother sea water appearance). If use hands sure blur from handshake. At least i chose wisely when buying a tripod last time, mine is a heavy duty one (up to 4kg) with a ball head joint, and can be inverted for low angle shots.

I think it's damaged from the start, it looks like fingerprint. I checked my oldest figure, already put in closet 7 years plus no such thing eh. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

And not only that, did u notice there are many shiny dots at the black area?? I dunno what causes that but seems like the place u put her is not so suitable to store figure, better move them to other places.

i think it has something to do with the plasticiser. the figure becomes "sticky" and perhaps the damage may have been caused by beruangyamaha himself when he handled the figure. not sure about pvc figures but such things happen to plastic toys generally (with the exception of abs). mebbe the experts can lend their opinion?

U mean the plastic wrappings? Mine also stored with those wrappers. From the way I looked it seems like someone touched it when the color material melted. But how high the temperature needed to melt it?? sweat.gif sweat.gif Coz my room is quite hot but never happened. sweat.gif sweat.gif
