Ooo I didn't know Furyu made non-anime figures...

I'm starting to get a little tired of nice figures that I really want costing way more than what I'm willing to pay...This one will retail for 14.8k...Also an exclusive, so I'm guessing it will be higher when PO opens...

LoL, if cut leg also still so expensive, maybe next time they can just sell the head... The way prices are skyrocketing, they should just start selling figures with different parts sold separately...That way, those who like one part of the figure, like the head/boobs/ass, can buy just that...The ones who sleep in beds made of cash can buy each part and combine for a complete figure (like a Power Rangers Megazord)...

Wow, thats a really glass half full way of looking at things...Wish I had the same optimism...Right now, my biggest worry would be several figures I really want coming out at around the same time...At one point, around 2-3 figures in the same month was still manageable for me, now even for one I have to think real hard...

It doesn't help that it looks like its made from the EXACT SAME material as the float (it looks like the skirt and float are fusing together )...Maybe if she wasn't holding the float, it wouldn't be so obvious...?

Yup, but as already mentioned a few times here, she is a bit wobbly...I'd normally expect figures fixed to the base to be a little more steady...I guess it can't be helped with the weight of them HUGE wings...I'm just worried that she might start leaning backwards due to the weight (and the hot weather which is supposed to get even hotter in the coming months)...

Mine arrived on the same day, but didn't have time to post these...


It arrived safely, but I can't say I was happy with the way GSC packed it...I'm not complaining about the flimsy brown paper they used (it can even be toilet paper for all I care), but at least make sure the figure box sits firm, and doesn't move around...As you can see from the picture, mine had so much space on the sides, and it was moving around like crazy...Not impressed, GSC...

At least they have good after-sales support...But I think it would be more cost saving for them to pack nicely in the first place instead of sending replacements...Ah well, I rarely order directly with GSC anyway...

Anyway, complaints aside, this is rather interesting... Can't wait to see the prototype...

More KanColle, this time in the form of prepainted resin kits...First two are 1/7 (Souryuu and Hiryuu), while I-8 is 1/5...All three are WonFes limited...I'd love to get my hands on the adorable sisters ,but the price...MY GOD, THE PRICE...!!! 50k yen each, I-8 is 6ok yen... Oh well, if I'm lucky, some "lower-end" company, like MF or GSC might pick up the two...

IMO, Sonico looks best of the three...Not really into the emotionless look Saber has...As for Sinon, am I the only who thinks the bullet casing from the rifle looks like its ejaculating...?

I guess I shouldn't complain about Nero's expression, since my favourite version is also not smiling (Gift ver.)... That said, I would love to have a figure of her with a smiling/cheerful face...Koto's version does smile, but it just looks weird to me...The closest I think would be the BQ ver, absolutely love it...

Koto may be trying to release theirs first, but not if Griffon can help it... Proto is already out, so they'll probably release it at least a couple of months before Koto...The sad part is, I like Griffon's sculpt better than Koto's, but I know its gonna be grossly overpriced and the end product is gonna suck...

I'll admit, this looks very nice, but I'm not sure it warrants a 15k yen pricetag...

Got a pleasant shocker today...I bought something on Nippon-Yasan, completed the transaction (payment and all) at 3.50 pm...Then I got an email saying my order has been shipped (tracking num. included), at 4.30pm... How the hell is that possible...??? Is this normal for N-Y...? Other shops have shipped orders on the same day before, but only if I ordered really early in the morning...Roughly half an hour between ordering and shipping is quite surprising for me...

Must be nice being a rich guy..."Take mah moneh...What? Not enough? Here, take summore"...

1/4 scale I-168 by, who else, Freeing ofc... She is just beyond adorable...The expression, pose, the uniform+swimsuit combo... But ofc, like most love affairs, this one ended in heartbreak too, when I saw the 20k yen pricetag... Oh,btw, she also comes with optional parts for damaged ver. (which Max Factory are also making)...



Freeing on the left, MF on the right...Love the tan on the MF ver. (or is it just the lighting...? ), and the paint they used for the swimsuit is probably closer to the real thing than the shiny one Freeing opted, but, and I can't believe I'm saying this...I prefer the Freeing ver. over MF...And now I'll just wait for after release to see if the price drops low enough for me to get her...

The face is also spot-on for someone who gets caught playing with herself...
Just hope MF didn't bite off more than they could chew...It would be a shame if their quality took a dip because of this...
