An impressive kit for 2001 - full inner frame, and very dense plastic which gives the kit considerable weight. The Thunder Break effect part was stolen and modified from SRC Daizyujin, and the Mazinger Blade was a simple job of gold and silver Gundam markers(originally was all white). Overall, a worthy addition to any Mazinger or Super Robot collection.

hi guys, may i ask....I have a RG RX-78-2, as usual, started to ensemble the kit immediately due to over excitement, until i reach the stage, where decals is needed and i found out that, THE DECALS IS MISSING!! what am i supposed to do?

Bandai RG water slide decal is available for RX-78-2.

But how come it's missing? It's impossible, right?

not impossible, common error when u're mass producing a product
usually if you purchase directly from shop u should always check it first
even if u purchase online they might consider replacing them
but since u already build it then most likely they won't entertain you. Might as well get water decal replacement

But in all my years of assembly, never experienced a missing part such as the stickers.

the systems aren't always perfect. I think previously also got missing runners
To me complaining here won't do any good, might as well get a replacement

yea, me too..this is my first ever kit that decals went missing. I'm not sure if seller took it or whatever. I admit it's my mistake too, for not checking the item. Will be more careful next time. I just bought the waterslide decal from Hobby Link Japan, need to wait for few weeks.

Can't blame anyone, just my bad luck, maybe.

normally decals are packaged with the A plate so if it's not opened then it should be in there.. otherwise it's the fault of the factory itself
IMO it's troublesome to apply waterslides on RGs.. too small and too many pieces, but of course it will turn out better than the stickers provided

Is it necessary to get from HLJ? I mean you can get those locally u know, eg AF Hobby or JS Hobby, well, unless you're getting something else from HLJ lar
