Nope.. its pre built into the RG, which was what i really loved.. the strike freedom's shoulder was always too white IMO..
The RG's shoulder is able to slide open or close thumbup.gif

aside from the expose wrist part and hands, there are some parts in the shoulder, knee, elbow that you attach to the B plate. Those are visible and can be safely painted.

I originally plan to paint mine as well, but after straight building, it really does not look that bad as seen in the picture.

I painted all the golden color plate. No problem in articulation. Tried the articulation in skeleton mode before putting armor on.

Hey guys a few weeks ago i came here asking for help placing a dark matter booster on the back of a RG Exia.

Turns out the back isnt compatible but you can do something about it.

http://areefhassan.tumblr.com/post/93398000380

Heres a link of some pics of you guys want to see what i did and it could provide some clues on the matter.

So hard la painted build. paint keeps peeling and i always double coat making it hard to assemble. susah sad.gif

did you wash your kit before painting? and also priming them will help with the situation as well, but dont apply paints too thick otherwise affects articulations as well
