New guy here in this thread.. Been preparing some stuff for the upcoming GBWC.

Anyway, here is one of my( you could say) still in progress yet completed kits. Color scheme based on Zabine's Crossbone gundam X2. added some extra stuff for fun



The shot lancer i had to custom made it from another kit, well basically an old 1/100 F91 kit and Ginn type High maneuver rifle since it has a unique look than the rest



And my other creation, fully painted Rozen zulu, since the original plate colors weren't that precise to the original.




always wanted to get Angelo sauper's geara zulu, can't seem to find em anymore. =(

something's been bothering me...
with Hi Nu Ka being released this month, why Bandai not announcing new MGs for the subsequent months? I tot it's their trend to release one MG per month, correct me if I'm wrong...but till now, there's no news of new MGs...
or, they're gonna use the RE/100 to replace MGs (temporary)? The Nighty will b released in Sept....

they haven't been consistently announcing MGs all year.. so far it's only been MG X, MG Turn X and Hi Nu ver ka.. i may have missed out some, i can't remember all
but there hasn't been a consisent one month one release this year

Even though you didn't acknowledge them, they are, after all, MG releases...even the Universe Booster for Build Strike is still considered as one for June....

yes, they've been slow with MGs announcements lately, but technically they are not missing out any MG releases up until now for this year
including Hi-Nu Ver Ka, there're already 8 MG releases this year, 'technically' 1 for each month, so they are doing their job
but as Hxiiik said, they kinda cheated with the Build Fighter MGs

if the build fighter MGs were actually good i'd be okay with it.. Build Strike was okay, but Build Booster as an MG release of the month is outright cheating

Build MKii was one of the biggest disappointments i have ever seen, and don't even get me started with Astray 'Particle fa jin Cat Claws'

What's wrong with Build Mk. II and Sengoku Astray?

not to mention Phenex was just adding few more plates to a MG Unicorn and gold plating whole kit only
then where's X Maoh when people expecting them to do just that since they made MG X

build mk ii, massive disappointment, cannot justify that price point when u place it beside hard hitters like Proto Zero, Rouge Ootori
but that's just my opinion, and the build mkii does use the old 2006 model and i was not a fan

Sengoku Astray is not exactly bad, but the fact that they can't even give us hands for his 'Particle Fa Jin' move in the show just strikes me as extremely cheap

Sorry to go off-topic, but ROFL at Rouge Ootori being a "hard hitter". The ugliest and laziest backpack ever designed - it would have been a better kit if they just gave it the original I.W.S.P pack.

it's weird though, that Bandai didn't reserve December slot for Hi-Nu Ver Ka
unless more badass Ver Ka coming soon?

well the original IWSP pack would be great, i suppose Rouge Ootori wasn't the best example, but Proto Zero, and X Gundam at 2/3s the price
definitely won't be picking Build MkII up unless he gets a massive discount

Its done to coincide with nightingale, back to back release to boost sales.

Hi nu is not very detailed (at least by new ver ka standards anyway). Clearly this is not because they cant do it as evident by nu n sazabi, my guess is that bandai already had in mind for ppl to pose nightingale and hi nu together and they dont want 1 kit to completely out class the other in terms of aesthetics to avoid looking out of place. With that in mind, it isnt too far fetch to suggest that bandai had planned all along to release both kit back to back to boost sales n maximizing profit off of fans of Beltorchika's Children and or Amuro/Char fanbois.

As for why its not tandem nov/dec instead of aug/sept that we do not know. With 2 new gundam anime airing soon one of them could be made into dec kit, or it could be an even more ridiculously big n expensive kit yet to be announce. We will know soon enough.

Nope, but I would fully expect one sometime next year.

Well the hole in that theory is that the Origin OVA is a 4 episode show detailing the early lives of Char up to the Battle of Loum. RX 78 hasnt been made yet at that time, if u want to shoehorn it in then i suppose it could make a cameo at epi 4, but that is still at least 2 years away judging from all the projects in their hand right now and taking Unicorn release time as benchmark. Highly unlikely it'll be next year.

Plus im not so sure about Bandai interest in RX78 ver origin to be honest. The manga has long been concluded, if they wanted to release 1 they would have done it years ago at the height of the manga popularity. And there is plenty of opportunity too in years past, 3.0 could have been an origin ver, during the 2.0 era an origin ver could be made as well instead of 10 zakus. If Bandai truly has interest in it, i see no reason for it to take this long in the 1st place.

Perhaps Sazabi would follow the path of Nu, a titanium release in December (one year after normal release).
