QUOTE(Billy G @ Aug 3 2014, 02:13 AM) yea, me too..this is my first ever kit that decals went missing. I'm not sure if seller took it or whatever. I admit it's my mistake too, for not checking the item. Will be more careful next time. I just bought the waterslide decal from Hobby Link Japan, need to wait for few weeks. Is it necessary to get from HLJ? I mean you can get those locally u know, eg AF Hobby or JS Hobby, well, unless you're getting something else from HLJ lar Can't blame anyone, just my bad luck, maybe. |

something's been bothering me...
with Hi Nu Ka being released this month, why Bandai not announcing new MGs for the subsequent months? I tot it's their trend to release one MG per month, correct me if I'm wrong...but till now, there's no news of new MGs... or, they're gonna use the RE/100 to replace MGs (temporary)? The Nighty will b released in Sept.... |

QUOTE(squall_12 @ Aug 8 2014, 09:00 PM) QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Aug 8 2014, 09:01 PM) 1) Prime > White I'm not sure, but I think squall means those white parts that had became yellowed, right?Or, cheaper way (since primer is more expensive than regular paint), silver > white. Answer is still almost same, paint them |

Guys, I have one question (dunno if I shld discuss it here though)
Me and my friend recently bought 2 boxes of gundam from a local seller Barang sent to us through courier, but the items received in bad condition, the boxes are slightly dented here and there... seller said that when he packed, the boxes are in good condition. not 1st time dealing with this seller; no issue with him b4... according to seller, he said he purchased some fragile stickers from courier, but it seems that courier guys didn't put them on, hence probably due to mishandling or something big and heavy stacked on top, it crushed them boxes... So, if happen to you guys, what will you do? Just wanna know your opinions..... |

QUOTE(xein @ Oct 8 2014, 08:48 PM) But if this is courier service problem, is it fair to ask seller to bear?I did asked the seller if can b exchanged, he seems quite reluctant to.... My friend is very fired up, not very happy that the box is damaged, seller seems to b pushing all responsibilities to courier... |

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Oct 8 2014, 09:04 PM) can't really win this one.. seller is a little at fault too for not taking extra care when shipping (such as putting extra padding) So far my friend didn't say anything about the contents being damaged, he's just frustrated that the item arrived, damaged, and seller 'almost' refused for an exchangeand it's not exactly fair to blame the seller since it's not entirely his fault.. if it was me, if the contents are undamaged and just the box is dented, i wouldn't really mind if the inside is very badly damaged however, i think i'm not very sure what to do either Seller did put in extra padding inside the box b4 delivery, probably not enough..... With me being squeezed in the middle, on one side is my friend with his frustration, the other side being quite a reputable seller (with good price tag and services), I really dunno what shld I do... From the pics my friend sent me (i've yet to inspect them myself), it's not that bad condition, which I can accept. QUOTE(Nawar @ Oct 8 2014, 09:08 PM) most of the time they will say the package is not properly packed.. leading to mistrust among receiver & sender.. That's why I feedback to seller, then almost for the 1st few minutes, the seller seems to b frustrated as well If the content sprues are not damaged, then theres nothing worth complaining.. You/sender can have written complain to the company of the mishandle provided pictures of package upon receiving and the damaged goods.. some company policy do compensation on damage.. some need items to be insured to claim for any losses... but most likely you will suffer losses.. unless the sender are willing to replace and deal the mishandle damaged good with the company.. After I explained my intention (just wanna know if the dents are already there b4 or after delivery), he seems to cool down.... Also feedback to him that the package doesn't have any fragile stickers, so I guess he will settle with them, still waiting for the outcome.... QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Oct 8 2014, 09:15 PM) if your friend is that picky, might as well ask him to pick up from his local store and not deal in postage.. we all know our postmen are not known for taking good care of our parcels, even WITH the fragile sticker yeah, I think I will tell him that, because even parcels from Gwing or Toypanic or even HLJ, will have risk being damaged during deliverypick up from your local store and he can slowly look through until he find a box that is perfect.. that's the only way if you say it's not that bad, i would think it's nothing really worth complaining about, inside should be just fine and that's the important part best is to buy straight from local shop or CODs... it's just that our local hobby shop sells them gundams a little bit more expensive than average sellers |

QUOTE(Nawar @ Oct 8 2014, 09:26 PM) so far i find toypanic parcels are the best.. not to say its indestructable.. For me, I'd tried various sellers (Topypanic not yet though), all of them I received in perfect condition....except for this one, and another from HLJ but they do take measures of ensuring the item receive with the best condition even for the packaging box.. Just for info, this recently bought one, is my Hi Nu Ka This post has been edited by onnylam: Oct 8 2014, 09:36 PM |

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Oct 8 2014, 09:36 PM) usually sellers with shops would do better than online sellers.. but as said, definitely not indestructible.. best is to buy from local store, even if it's more expensive if you're rather particular about your box condition Well, that being said, my friend already made up his mind, not to get anymore kits from this seller, well, at least for a while.....else ask sellers to pack and pad a bigger box and u pay slightly more for shipping As for me, I've decided not to chase for an exchange, as I cannot blame seller for the damaged boxes, even though I prefer my boxes to pretty pretty Thanks for the feedbacks bro Back to gunpla, I've been wondering, why no one posted their WIP or completed Hi Nu Ka? No one buy meh? Or too much backlog, still on waiting list? |
