Anyone know what is the APN setting?Can't seem to get my celcom 3g to work?

great phone..using it for a week now
seeing the ram always on the low is kinda irritating..but not like it lags the phone..great experience for me

Try Google Celcom APN.
BTW, I never have any issue with APN despite changing the 1st SIM between my Celcom & Digi SIM card. Why yours need to setup?

Yup..this is what I mean. Experience with the phone is great, just abit annoy with the low memory part. Everything else, its good. It's a good phone for day to day use.

how's v29 on your phone? stable or not? some people say stick with v27?

MIUI is nice and interactive. But there are still many limitations. And while it may be stable, it appears not on 1s. I'm still getting constant jump to fastboot screen. And there's obvious a second++ lag in keyboard appearing upon clicking a textbox.

Haven't update to 29 yet, but from what i read so far it make not much differences either. I really want to try stock android on this phone.....

i noticed that our devices when shipped by xiaomi malaysia, they tweaked and installed some apps

Notably : Swiftkey, Google Keyboard, Google Apps, Mi Handbook

Once you reset it to factory default and wipe all data, none of the those exist lol.

CM10 still a lot of things not working like camera
Different preference maybe , I wanted to revert back stock rom , reason is because not use to MIUI UI .
No app drawer
All icon is have a square border, like youtube red icon have a black border square
Stock SMS cannot landscape
Dialer number size is so small and the placement on the top rather than on the middle.
etc.
Once you switch from stock rom or samsung phone to MIUI I get this kind of feel.

When they'll release the source code ? why they dont wanted to release it ?
I just prefer stock UI and app drawer and stock dialer.
I really want back the default icon which the MIUI icon all also got box border color.
Where to find any custom mod for MIUI icon ?

Have you received your 1S? If it is still on V27, better stick with it first since based on the feedback here, many complaints on V29. I am on V27 and luckily did not upgrade to V29 since there were problems with it. I intend to upgrade to V31 later when global version is available and if feedback stays positive. Apart from the battery drain and some minor quirks, my experience with V27 and 1S is pretty OK (for the price) and find it stable. Just my view.

Very satisfied overall but battery drain n heat issue really a problem for me..

But my fren very interested in 1s.alway ask me to sell to him.. myabe will sell to him this week...

Use Redmi Note for 1 day... No Heat or Battery Drain issues. Slightly got shutter lag, but can't complain much since is a MTK device price at RM509 only.

yes note is indeed a good phone with no battery drain issue. using it as main phone and loving it every moment and second..

My 1 week experience with 1s was great till it decided to reboot during my jog this evening ... Was having runkeeper on with GPS. Earlier two times (longer duration) was OK.

haven't received. expected delivery on 8Aug.
will stick to v27 and hold on to any update. thanks.

So, no matter which ROM version, the battery drain is excessive?
