Oh I get you now. True, tire is soft and round, and it won't break a flat surface easily as the load is transferred to the ground. However, it also shows that the Mi3 hardware is well packed inside without any hollow space inside, else the screen would had cracked.

You can transfer your contacts from iPhone to Mi3 via bluetooth.

In Mi3 go to Contacts > Menu > Import/Export >Import from another phone > Choose Apple > iPhone 5> Read instructions > Connect via bluetooth > Transfer > Done.

Those who're mostly going to play around with ROMS, I recommend flashing CWM first. Gives you more control and easier flashing.
