QUOTE(Connect2USales @ May 23 2014, 11:36 PM) ok.. i mean, it doesnt crack when the car went over it.. cos the rubber is not hard and it absorbed the car weight. As for drop, even if its CG, its still a 6H MoHS hardness only for a glass. And most tar road consist of different minerals which is more than 6H. Hence, if the phone drop screen down, most likely it will crack. Oh I get you now. True, tire is soft and round, and it won't break a flat surface easily as the load is transferred to the ground. However, it also shows that the Mi3 hardware is well packed inside without any hollow space inside, else the screen would had cracked.hope this explains better. |

QUOTE(andyting @ May 24 2014, 12:24 AM) Hey guys, just wondering, what's the difference between installing the MIUI launcher on a phone eg sony, samsung and installing a MIUI ROM or getting a xiaomi phone, apart from hardware difference? MIUI launcher has less features than the rom itself. The rom offers all the features intended by MIUI. |

QUOTE(gacktleong @ May 24 2014, 09:22 AM) OMG! As described by the Web Assist, my mi3 is not shipped yet!!!! Chill la, wait till next week and you'll get it. Patience is the key! I want to complain Xiami Malaysia! I need them to explain this! *Anyone has the same problem as i do? QUOTE(koonghx @ May 24 2014, 09:23 AM) If unofficial roms also allow? No idea, haven't saw any custom rom other than MIUI itself.Because like in Moto G case, you had to go to their website to register and void your warranty just to unlock the bootloader. |

This thread derailed like hell, now all talking about Fedex and UPS and Gdex, pickup time and so on.
Dey, this is Mi3 thread, go open thread in kopitiam and spam all your frustration there. Get the phone only come here and discuss about the phone itself. |

QUOTE(Connect2USales @ May 24 2014, 11:42 AM) Kopitiam no post count.. N TS also didn't bother much.. N it's convenient to talk bout it here since it's on mi3.. Ppl are so happy about it o.. I think once everyone receive their unit, they will start talking about the phone again.. This thread is on Android subforum, we're supposed to talk on the phone and OS. |

You can transfer your contacts from iPhone to Mi3 via bluetooth. In Mi3 go to Contacts > Menu > Import/Export >Import from another phone > Choose Apple > iPhone 5> Read instructions > Connect via bluetooth > Transfer > Done. |

Those who're mostly going to play around with ROMS, I recommend flashing CWM first. Gives you more control and easier flashing.
http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthrea...5&highlight=CWM and those with root access who wishes to have more options in customization, get WSM tool + MiTools http://en.miui.com/thread-8784-1-1.html Do these with your own risk. |
