Done more detailed auditioning coupled with a Hippo CriCri amp and my old trusty Beyer DT231 with few genres of song ranging from rock, pop, electronic and instrumental. All is done without any EQ and enchancer, I took back my words.

The mid is good, guitar plucking and strumming, drum toms and snare is detailed, highs is just OK, I can hear the "ting" sound from cymbal.

Bass drum is just fine but not too tight though, bass line is ok, I can't determine about the bass quantity though, my DT231 is lacking in bass quantity.

Sound separation is quite good, drum, electric guitar, synthesizer can be heard in electro/rock song. I need to try some concert music on it to determine the sound stage.

As said before, Kitkat is already available. Yes you can update, it's a developer rom now, not stable yet. Expect bugs and instability when you use developer rom.

It's the lockscreen, you lock your phone, on it then it should have it. You'll only be able to see the lock icon, but after you pull the round thing around, you'll be able to see other icon like messaging, camera and calls.

Achievable, standby can go up to 2 days for light usage, 5-6 hours hardly but possible, I usually get average of 3-5 hours SOT.

Should be defective. I tried mine with full brightness, it's all evenly white.
