if you liked bass then the Altec will win no matter how it sounds as R1280T isn't bassy in computer speaker range

but since R1280T doesn't have the generic bass of average computer speaker, it won't have bass mudding it's sound

but lets say I were to switch off the VS4621 subwoofer and only compared the two stereo speakers,

The R1280T is extremely full sounding with body and texture compared to the dead plastic sound of VS4621 down firing midranges

stronger bass? not really

but less annoying mid bass? E3100

That's if you can still find the E3100 icon_rolleyes.gif

Unfortunately not anymore.

There used to be a famous M3400 which is a 2nd option over E3100
Gone

You can try the M3250 which cost around RM219 I think.
as well as P3080M which is even pricier at around RM239 if I'm not wrong. I like the sound of this one more as it sounds more pleasing but controlling the speaker is a pain
Not my cup of tea. Just maybe you will like it sweat.gif

I'm not sure where is KV (klang valley?) but the places I test are in Sunway Pyramid IT corner. A few stores supply them

Lowyat has them too but its been so long since I visited that area sweat.gif

Although it doesn't use Balance Armature, the sq is very good because it is voice by a master.

My speaker wire was broken, what I can do? My S330D is out of warranty now, my speaker still in very good condition, except this broken wire.
