well its not gonna hurt if u try swapping the stock spring 1st. however im certain the sports absorber plays a part in giving a bumpy ride also.




for the distributor, u better go back to that foreman and ask him to fix that electric spark pronto! if need to change the cable then change since u are using the car for a long ride.

same goes with fuel tank. if u can find a 2nd hand kancil tank (which i guess u can ask at the workshop who do kancil mods. im sure the got alot of it...) then get it. wont be that expensive.

take good care of ur kancil man. since u use it frequently.

still got selling kah? last time i ask was almost 2 years ago where they had to ordered and will take at least two months to reach to their shop.

end up buying adjustable which is available on the spot.

If u willing to spend as much as rm3k and trust me it will add up more and more, then by all means change the engine. However if ur engine still ok, just do some minor repair, hopefully the fuel comsuptions will lower down. Beside changing the engine does not mean u will get better fuel compsuption

Dang i was speeding like crazy suddenly i noticed my temp rising kindda high than usual. Need to get that check asap. I still have not recieved any news about my booked bike also. Planning to send my car for a thorough checkup. It'll probably gonna take me a month or two. With my kancil as my main transportation its gonna be tough.

the lampu petak or the lampu bulat one? i saw someone selling the lampu bulat mia meter around rm150++. sorry cant remember much...

lampu petak u can use l2s or l5 mia board...

of coz le used one...

can change the whole dashboard also.... im using L5 mia dashboard. dashboard+blower range around rm350-450 minus the meter console.... meter console need to add a bit more.... if u lucky u can get both with the meter console for the same price...

need to search lah... if u got fb try search for barang-barang kancil. got loads of kancil parts over there for sales.

should go for ef-det. can go fast2...

still if u wanna go faster, try plonk in k3vet. sure laju mia....

well joke aside.... here's some serious answers...

-bigger turbo( if u have the money go for front mount intercooler)
-piggyback/standalone (and also a good tuner)
-good engine oil and gearbox oil (well not for speed just for ur engine and gearbox protection)

well thats all i can think of now...
actually got loads of ways to make ur engine more powerful but u have to ask one thing... are u willing to spend a fortune for a kancil?

yep i can be done.... i got some good feedback over the viva engine... one of them is the fuel consumption is quite good.

probably cv joint. check for tear at that rubber protector on the cv joint. if its tore than for sure ur cv joint.

any engine is fine... the foreman only i worried.... i know this one guy kena kaw2 sama pomen and need to redo almost everything... lastly i told him just to sell the kancil and take the loss... dunnue lah what happened to him. didnt contact him for a long time already....

as for the ones u should consider...

L512 engine -4 piston engine should be nice for cruising. if u are looking for speed, this engine is not it. well u can always upgrade it and make it powerful but as it is for me personally its a good cruising engine for long drive. this is the oldest engine in ur engine choice so take that into consideration.

L9 engine - need to be sure the engine code... is it EF-DET (3 Piston) or JB DET (4piston)? EF-DET is the choice if u consider speed but with 3 piston, the vibration will not be enjoyable as much. as for JB DET (im using JB DET engine) from my own experience its more stable with less vibration with ok speed and cruising with this engine is heavenly (for me at least). both engine are from around 2000-ish i think so also take that into consideration.

L260s - this is the newest engine u can get from daihatsu thou if u can tell the code engine it would be nice since this model got two different engines. one is turbo-charged (also using EF-DET engine which is a 3 piston engine) and another is DVVT only. i dont have any experience regarding this engine. depending on what type of engine do u want, i think both will give u a driving pleasure than ur regular kancil's engine lol.... this engine comes from cars around 2002 above. so take that as consideration too...


and wow 5K++? personally i think its kindda expensive side thou.... mine was around 3k (the JB DET engine with all parts installed) well minus another sum amount of money for the interior...

as for parts, JB JL is most common to find right now... (well not as many as L200s mia engine but yeah still available)

as for JB-DET and EF-DET... its not hard to find but yeah u need to take a look around a bit la to find it.

as for the EF VE (the L260s DVVT engine) im not familiar with this engine so i guess the parts are quite hard? dunnue... thou u can kacuk one with other if its comparable


this is from my personal opinion only.... like i said the important thing is the foreman that u choose to transplant the engine. its pretty sad that some of the foreman are taking advantage and at the end of the day u need to fork out more money just to repair the engine because of the wrong doings from ur foreman.
