i guess u can install it. just go to workshop that specialized kancil and ask for clarification

kalau nak sedap amik je enjin kelisa jepun. 1000cc NA sedap la nak cruising n tak dela pening kepala nak maintain sgt. laju pon boleh tahan.

ok je, tapi kalau turbo kena jaga la sket. minyak itam kena rajin tukor, radiator kena maintain cantik, and make sure turbo dalam keadaan sihat. lagipon, turbo 660cc je. kalau 1000cc walaupn NA masuk body kancil pon dah berdesup. lagipon NA ni x de la cerewet sangat nak jaga berbanding turbo.

i have the sleeper setup, just a simple no no-nonsense kancil but the engine are completely swapped and tuned. if u have a 200k engine that still running good, my advice it just keep it as it is. my original kancil engine was around 140k with 2 top overhaul and still not getting any better so i decided to swap the engine.

however if u really wanna do an engine swap go for a newer version a bit. for JB series u can go for JB DET (4 piston) or EF-DET (for 3 piston). that is one of the new engine i know of actually.

3k for an overhaul? wow.... thats freaking expensive bro. ur mech wants to do a full rebuild ke? try asking other recommended shop. where are u located?

JB DET user here.

i noticed nowdays JB DET engine is dirt cheap. it serve me well till i stop driving the car for a while (jadi mat rempit pulak now).

overall just a good reliable engine (if u can get a decent engine la).

as for parts.... well ive seen people selling the part quite cheap. so i yeah parts nowdays are easy.

all im going to advise u is if u wanna do an engine conversion, please find a good foreman that knows about the engine. this will save u from alot of trouble later on.

im going to revive my kancil back in a couple of months since i kindda miss riding that damn kancil so much.

well... after 2 weeks at workshop... my kancil got its new engine. last time was JBDET, now change to EFDET. the boost is sooooo.... paired with LSD gearbox... damn that car can go like nobody's business...

now slowly doing some misc stuff and hope that this engine can last for a bit.

well i thought i was in the clear but just found out that my compressor is kong, my end tie rod is loose on driver side.

anyways i guess i got to hold that planned long drive till i tackle the issues. by right the engine is great... but i dont wanna take chances especially on this rainy seasons where u need aircond so that the cockpit wont fog out lol...
