QUOTE(zeone @ May 20 2014, 02:34 PM) Hi Bro YAB... Well, rubber bush is only about RM20/pc. Need hydraulic pump to force it in, labor intensive. Hence, each time bush replacement could cost between RM200-400, but easily last for 5 years. So, it wasn't so bad even if its only organic material. According ti the foot work expert, usually the tofubim car if changed to PU bush at the trailing arm, the bushes generally can outlast the car itself No worries re abv... However, Many tks 4yr efforts 2help all of us! And now more so 4yr kind concern over our safety! So juz 2put on record... our sincere thks 4sharing yr knowledge & ideas with 1 & all in Gaga thread!! Hv a great week ahead!! |

QUOTE(zeone @ May 20 2014, 09:19 PM) I personally believe Tun M is a brilliant business man. Not so wise as in attacking Mr.Quantum back in the old days, but still we wouldn't know what was happening behind, who is taking whose money(that's what make it so brilliant). Nonetheless, I sure know both me and my father are the victims. I was just started to get my job, and my dad still partially sponsoring my college fee back then |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ May 22 2014, 05:23 AM) there's only 1 type of savvy right? and apparently it's using akebono pads? Bulk bulk 1213 is the code (nothing = oem replacement ultimax, 2 = greeen, 3 = red, 4 = yellow) eg: DP1213 is ultimax DP21213 is greenstuff DP31213 is red stuff (from the 2013 EBC catalog i have only got ultimax/greenstuff) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Razsus QUOTE(davidke20 @ Mar 5 2014, 10:05 PM) Considerably cheap. IINM, FBK I use is about RM80 also(when I purchase it by saying buy for SAGA BLM, if I say Shawie, it's RM150 for same stock QUOTE(davidke20 @ Apr 1 2013, 09:48 PM) As for your magician friend, can get him to screw himself liao. 1 thing for sure, he ain't know what to fix nor where to get parts. Basically a Shawie has many different component, some are repairable by outside magician, some only the experts can do. Why general public hated Shawie much is because it uses EURO standard, including bolt and screw they uses TORX, which is NOT commonly available across magicians. I stay in Bdr Sri Damansara, but my magician is in Dengkil. Usually he can diagnose the problem, but repair I'll have to send back to Renautech. Reason being, my magician aint gonna buy a set of expansive wrench just to repair minority of Shawie. Parts can be as cheap as maintaining a GaGa, coz most of their parts are common. Basically besides things that related to Engine and Gearbox, the rest are quite common with GaGa. Last week I broke my defogger/windscreen washer water spray motor. I went Jln Haji Eusoff(well known auto parts supplier street parallel with Jalan Ipoh) search for spare part. The moment I mentioned my Savvy's water spray motor, immediately the guy say "WHOAH!!!! You die lor! Savvy part f***ing expansive geh! Wait ar lemme check whether got stock sin..." later he come back and shout again "WHOAH!!!! This ranjiao motor will cost you RM120 wor, how ar?!". Ofcourse I no diao him and tarik kaki ady. So I went to Dengkil, my magician brought the broken motor to sparepart shop, ask them give 1 exactly the same. The spare part guy bring 1 Proton Saga water spray motor, guess how much is it? RM15 it is Anyway, enjoy the car as much as you can. Go gentle on it, it's an European engine, tough and reliable. Don't trash it, as you and me know European engine repair will cost Euros, just like a Merc or Bimmer. If you treat it good, it will do wonders for you. Long live Shawie |
