QUOTE(lhwj @ May 18 2014, 10:35 PM) I'd take FC meter readings with a pinch of salt, and as you said the most accurate method is to brim the tank and log the data in Fuelly. Done correctly I estimate the margin of error is about 100-200ml per tank. Your 4B1x actually has pretty decent FC if driven lightly.
Anyway... boring FC talk below, read at your own risk » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Awesome FC trip we had |

QUOTE(lhwj @ May 18 2014, 11:17 PM) Interesting observations on the trip computer calculations. My drive home today wasn't practical either and I prolly won't be doing any more FC runs on the highway. On my next few tanks I'm going to drive like petrol is free Will meh? No arh Thanks |

QUOTE(lhwj @ May 18 2014, 11:21 PM) The next time, I'm going to lay down strict rules of enjoyment.1) only 1 TT meetup place, who missed it, the rest of the trip he makan sendiri(instead of 2, and the 2nd basically useless for this Melaka trip, due to rain down pour) 2) Full itinerary/schedule being planned, for each stops. Will be leaving punctually regardless who left behind, those who missed it sendiri cari the next 1 and join. 3) All revenue will be provided landmark/maps 1~2 weeks pre-TT. 4) Appoint video/camera car to shoot actions, such as nickzcuso fly by even rain down pour 5) Can have +1, but no kids. I can't even eat with peace of mind 6) Probably going to have special guest appearance to give us a small talk regarding cars/road safety/weekend track day experience 7) Arrange facility to convert Christopher93's fren to become unfren/gafren. 8) Collect deposit to avoid FFK All this has been listed as to do list 2 years ago when I told dares that wishing to make a tauge run with fella GaGa members. |

QUOTE(Razsus @ May 19 2014, 06:00 PM) Mr.Chia, pls understand for a natural aspirated engine, to achive 100hp/litre capacity is very hard already. If not Hongda wouldn't have so proud with their VTEK B16B engine, for a 1.6litre engine generate up to 185bhp. How much horses is your FLX SE again? I let you have a bloated result on dyno, show me your 160bhp and that's is marvelous already. So, for Mr.Ti, to break that 100hp bottle neck, substantial of mod is needed before he can managed it. 1 of the must, would probably be a standalone/replacement ECU that's not limited by stock firmware from Plotong Continental stock ECU For me, if I could ever reach 130bhp with reliability stays in the car, I'd rather change a MIVEK engine, probably still cheaper than getting the mod done to achieve 100hp/litre on a bloody Kampro |

![]() Reason: To have firmer trailing arm movement, precise weight shifting. Rear end of the car appear to be more neutral. It can prolong rear damper lifespan, as well as stock spring strength. Generally, polyurethane is plastics, can last extremely long compare to organic rubber bushing. Side effect: For slow car fast driver, tend to over speed their corners due to over confidence. Neutral, meaning easy to turn, also meaning too much weight shifting can result in oversteer. An event of uncontrollable oversteer = lost control = crash. Tight trailing arm also meaning will have squeeking sound if not lubricate well. Lack of trailing arm movement can be annoying when going through rough roads, can crush your balls. Danger replacement part, for the non fainted heart! Use at your own risk. Vehicle type: All BT2 & BT3 from PL1 family Price: Unknown yet Fabricator: e-lite Quantity: In pair Dealing method: Cash before fabrication Bulk start date: TBA(after price negotiation and firming up the minimum numbers) Bulk end date: 1 week from start date
Dear all, a billion apologize, I have some 1st hand knowledge passed down from foot work expert. I decided to cancel the bulk purchase for everyone's safety. Should you still be interested, may consult e-lite directly to further the deal and firm up with the best price. So, here's some input I shall share with you all incase if you wish to know. 1) There's a reason, for non existence of trailing arm PU bushing in the market 2) Even if there is, it has to be custom make and not too popular among the aftermarket mod society 3) Torsion beam is not quite flexible compare to MacPherson strut on multi link. 4) Torsion beam movement is entirely relying on trailing arm, moving on radial movement 5) Having a solid PU bush on the trailing arm pivot, can greatly reduced the flexibility of radial movement for the trailing arm 6) Lack of radial movement on uneven road = hop = no grip = lose control Regardless how good your tyre is; Regardless how great damper/spring suspension kit you've installed; Regardless how well you handle your steering wheel, the tail is in the SKY |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ May 20 2014, 12:29 AM) old mivec with lifting yes, new DVVT mivec, hp lose to wira somemore Hence ayam saying, Kampro is using hydraulic lifting as well(not physical cam gearing). It's just as hard to achieve those figure as your DVVT mivek hydraulic lifter. Look at our very own CPS engine |
