I think not selling 4000 units in 20th May, it should be only 1000 units right? Every subsequent week Tuesday only available 1000 units and so on.

really dunno until 20th...one thing for sure, demand over supply...

Not sure oso. Later release 4000 units but only able to sell 1800 units. You never know.

we never know. Maybe in this thread, the hype is strong but outside of this thread, still not much people is interested.

I asked my frens and colleagues around, some told me my hp still very good, why need to buy it?
Others told me they already have Samsung, HTC and Sony phones tied with contract, why need to change to China brand?
Others claiming China brand reliable onot despite being super cheap, they still believe 一份钱，一份货的道理。

Maybe I am wrong. Just need to see the sales figure on 20 May to confirm.

I really wish everyone will actually think like you and your friends as chinese saying " less one avatar, less one ghost".....my chances would be doubled so...hehe

with this kind of price i don't think it has problem to sell the phone. Is there any other phone that has snapdragon 800 and available locally that come with this price? The only reason i can think of why this phone not sell as much is because of the marketing is not like other establish brand like samsung or sony. Only people who follow the tech news knows about this phone but even that the amount of people is not small either.

Many of them out there still not like China Brand due to several factors. Take me as example, initially I thought Xiaomi Brand just a clone phone, but that was a year ago. Now I am confident with Xiaomi after I used the Mi3 set for past two months. And even at my working place, few staffs saw this Mi3, they admit that it has class of it own.

guys, stop changing their mindset. let it be, then we all can grab this phone on 20th...haha

ok, sorry im just joking. what droidtrix and crsipy quoted here were very true. Xiaomi has emerged itself into a giant player for smartphone. Last time, we were still thinking can a cheap low cost phone give us flagship model performance? Xiaomi really did it and materialized something which was thought impossible in those days...

2days ago, I saw 20,000 likes on Facebook for RM889 sales Mi3. Assume there will 20% of the likes are going after the Mi3 purchase.

20,000 likes x 20% person are going to buy Mi3 = 4,000 person.

Less men, more share

Can't Dispute on that.. True what u were mentioned.

Somehow, there will be people still lag behind and always doubtful of new changes.
Maybe still stuck in the 50s or 60s where made in Japan products were considered cheap and inferior.
