QUOTE(echoesian @ May 14 2014, 12:32 PM) Mi3 @ RM889 potong stim becoz no LTE and SD Card?Don't worry, now Motorola came out Moto G with LTE and SD Card @ 220$ (aprox RM710) Maybe Mi3s 16GB that with LTE capable, coming soon to Malaysia(4-6months later) @ RM1199. Well, by the time, you have another reason to tell yourself, Nexus 6 with SD805, 3GB RAM, OIS Camera, Huge mAh battery, Android OS "L", LTE, at the same price. Waiting will be endless dude. |

QUOTE(echoesian @ May 14 2014, 05:35 PM) What is such a big gap? Both of these devices were having similar price last year. Perhaps you talking about S4 3G not the LTE version? QUOTE(siren @ May 15 2014, 12:06 PM) To be frank, I rather wait till next month to get the OnePlusOne 64GB for US$349 Both 1+1 and Mi3 are good devices, but your point are somewhat half-half correct only. 1) I really dunno what can u guys do with a non-SD card 16GB phone. If you do WhatsApp and Wechat sending alot of pictures and voice messages, easily within 1 to 2 mths, your storage already took-up 1GB. Not to mention installing games like Real Racing etc. 2) Miui ROM still cannot make it. 3) I still do not trust Made-in-China products. At least OnePlusOne still a Chinese+USA company with tons of USA developers in XDA. 1) Is true that if non-SDCard 16GB phone will be a pain, if Social sending a lot of pictures & voice msgs. Pictures still can tolerates but not for voice messages, if anyone here like voice messages(not me), should look for high storage size, unless anyone do frequent clean up their old voice msgs. Also, reminder that any 16GB phone is not recommended to install high GB games. Angry Bird maybe? 2) What do you mean MIUI ROM still cannot make it? 3) Well, todays almost all devices are Made-In-China anyway. |

QUOTE(hapyhapy82 @ May 15 2014, 11:15 PM) If you asking, can or not? Answer is Yes.If you ask can the 3G in Malaysia or not? Answer is No, you have to look for the Snapdragon Version of Mi3, but not the Tegra. This post has been edited by NightFelix: May 15 2014, 11:21 PM |

QUOTE(siren @ May 16 2014, 11:46 AM) no la, this is only my take. 2days ago, I saw 20,000 likes on Facebook for RM889 sales Mi3. Assume there will 20% of the likes are going after the Mi3 purchase.we never know. Maybe in this thread, the hype is strong but outside of this thread, still not much people is interested. I asked my frens and colleagues around, some told me my hp still very good, why need to buy it? Others told me they already have Samsung, HTC and Sony phones tied with contract, why need to change to China brand? Others claiming China brand reliable onot despite being super cheap, they still believe 一份钱,一份货的道理。 Maybe I am wrong. Just need to see the sales figure on 20 May to confirm. 20,000 likes x 20% person are going to buy Mi3 = 4,000 person. |

QUOTE(kennethkee93 @ May 16 2014, 01:03 PM) Lenovo was doing very bad in North American in term of Tablet/Smartphones, they just doing good in Laptop/PC business but not great. If you tell Lenovo to a American, they will tell you, "Oh! I know! Lenovo Yoga!" QUOTE(MsiaqweR @ May 16 2014, 01:08 PM) Lenovo is good but it is not a home grown brand. I thought Lenovo suppose be the one bought IBM, instead of IBM bought Lenovo? Lenovo was a subsidy of IBM previously and subsequently sold to China. Hence, Lenovo is considered a brand that is well known even before the take over. Similar case for Motorola now. Tiram Sos: Lenovo Wikipedia QUOTE(droidtrix @ May 16 2014, 01:34 PM) Huawei is heading toward Europe market, the brand awareness of Huawei in Europe is better than in North America. This post has been edited by NightFelix: May 16 2014, 02:18 PM |
