Bro, I suggest you go read up on pixel density, resolution, types of panels and the level of performance you want..

This is a basic buyers guide. Google any terms you don't understand.
http://www.cnet.com/topics/monitors/buying-guide/

Also, please set a budget for your PC. Not sure if you're willing to fork out 30k for a rig. You don't have to game at Ultra 1440p 16xMSAA and every other effect turned on. Plus scaling for quad cards is horrendous.

so 2 gtx titan black is good enough to play game on ultra with triple monitor 24inch

Yup.
And that a z87/z97 4770k/4790k would do.

the x79 cpu is actually a waste in gaming and people only use that proc when they are intending to tri-sli. just the pcielanes etc..
but the 6 core is actually wasted because each core single thread is slower than a 4770k. even with its huge quad rate mem.. because of the
interegrated IMC etc on 4770k. the internal latencies are faster with AVX2 etc... its beating it only with the extra two cores. 4 on 4.. sandy-e/ivy-e surrenders..

Well if for only gaming, the core i5 is actually a nice cpu to have. Not many games do utilize the hyperthreading that the i7 offers

If not mistaken, the prices were quoted from Viewnet (LYP) and the GC is from IdealTech (or lingloong at Garage Sales).

Asrock is fine. Their boards are priced very reasonably compared to other brands (of comparable model), that's why they're one of the most recommended ones here. Gainward is fine too, actually they're a sub-brand from Palit Group, which is the biggest GC manufacturer in the world. wink.gif

GTX 760 and R9 280 (previously HD 7950 Boost) is roughly equivalent in terms of performance. You can go either one you wish for.

8GB RAM is pretty much sufficient for a gaming rig.

Great then

Any disadvantages/advantages between geforce n radeon? Read on the net that geforce runs quieter and at lower temp compared to radeon

Is SSD that important for gaming? Ive read some comparison, the difference is about 20 secs, which im willing to wait. Up to 1 minute extra is still ok for me

Well, both do have their own advantages. AMD has some innovations on their own namely TrueAudio and Mantle, while Nvidia has PhysX, just to name a few. You might need to google to understand further whether it has something that you're looking for. It is a myth that unfortunately does not apply to the entire product range. While it is true that AMD's highest range reference card (Hawaii based) R9 290X/290 runs up to 95C and is loud, but the same could not be said for other products at other differing price range.

The only advantage I would say SSD brings to gaming is the slightly improved loading time. It is not going to increase the FPS in any way. However, by adding a SSD into your overall build, it will definitely improve system responsiveness, opening/accessing files, OS booting is going to improve significantly. biggrin.gif

Bro rav3n82 had already explained that for you biggrin.gif , if you don't mind the functionality that the SSD brings I suggest grab a 3TB hard disk instead which will give ample rooms for your games and other downloadable stuffs tongue.gif . As games this days do come in big sizes (i.e BF4 (more than 30gb and more recently the new Wolfenstein is more than 40GB) .

Not much difference between AMD and Nvidia, though I do like Nvidia better due to their better driver support.

GTX 760 is good enough to be played in between high to ultra settings at 1080P so yeah if you wan't save a bit more on that it's fine.

However, if you do go with 2TB, please do avoid the WD Green as they would be slow as your main primary drive. You can consider going for Seagate Barracuda 2TB instead, since WD Blue only has until 1TB capacity IINM.

Ok bros, shoot me the best biggrin.gif

4k budget for gaming.

For the time being minus HDD and SSD. Plus, no need OS, casing, peripherals, and ODD.

Possible to get Xeon and Titan GPU??
