I've a question, if I pledge FD to apply for the cc. Does PBB lock down your FD?

yes and the rate will be based on board rate. Your FD cert will be retained by the branch. You cannot withdraw your FD unless you cut your card.

you also need to pay stamp duty of 0.5% of credit limit which means RM150 for this card. (Note Maybank only charge RM10) This was the information provided by a CS in PBB.

Let me know if your story is the other way round.

I wonder if it is possible to get another way round to get this card without 100k income or pledging 35k FD.

Such as proving that you have cash share trading account with 30k?

Sorry, you have to pledge some sort of colleteral which is acceptable to the bank if you do not meet the requirement.

And not only that, we will receive monthly cash back (cap RM60) as usual.
For my case it is RM48++, so total cash back becomes RM(150+48) = RM198 brows.gif

I notice my 2nd installment of my 1st PBB BT has not been creditted yet... that's strange. Is this normal for PBB BT ?

Yes, that is normal for PBB, ronnie. For 2nd installment PBB BT, it will be charged on your Statement Date & same for subsequent months as well.. smile.gif

Direct Debit doesn't count as any of Online / Grocery / Dining categories
