today i go PBB to ask about this, and the CS said the FD pledged have to be normal FD, minimum RM 35k, on 1 month basis (3.15% only),promotion FD (like the 3.98-4.28% FD promo, effective rate is 4.05%) are not eligible.

4.05% - 3.15% = 0.9%, 0.9% x RM 35000 = RM 315, you havent earn anything u already loss RM 315

and if u want to take ur FD out, u need to cancel your card first. So your FD is practically lock dead in PBB.

3.15% 1month fd is a standard rate, not a loss to you. 4.05% is just a bonus if you can get. you can earn back with their 0% bt. you know what i mean with the free money from bt.

those FD that we pledge, at the end of day if we cancel our card.
Do we get the principle amount only or are there any interest that we accumulate over the years?

of course with interest la.. already said 3.15% ma..

oh at least all is not lost la.
I always afraid that if pledge FD like give them my money to keep without seeing daylight again.

i dont understand what u mean by "if u can get it". THis 4.05% confirm can get it, so if i confirm can get 4.05% now, vs the 3.15%, it is a loss to me.

I dont have balance to transfer, so i didnt factor in BT.

Hmm, as long the interest accumulated to the principal and row every month, its ok for me, as I need some time to built up the CASA statement for self-employed category.

Week 11 and Week 12 bonanza still not in.

Wonder do we missed to get the bonanzas?? PB so far is very consistent with their cashback payment.

Maybe no one in LYN won anything in Bonanza 11 & 12 ?

Or Maybe result not so fast announce yet?

PBB usually very prompt for the last 10 times/

i don't think so, the later one u won't get cos it is processed manually unless u lodge a complaint or with bank negara only u get, it works the same for cimb cash back platinum
