no neck dive issues?Had an SG copy too was light, but it dives like crazy
i dont think the demand for lighter guitars were big back then, but now seems like everyone wants to know the weight before buying, Drives the prices up big time..
Turns out Voodoo pickups builder has actually passed.. RIP. Pickup sounded great in the clip.
they are a constant issue, hence swiss cheese and basswood came around, its still kinda the same now tho, most folks don't give a fuck but some will bitch about the best of the best.
oh i didnt know that he passed,

the ori has more treble and gain, its also a hair softer, haven't got that balance right yet
giving it a listen again, its coz of my speakers

what was on the LP before? have you recorded the same lick/setup with it?
the honk is probably the nature of the PG pups.. although i would say it still sounded nice to me

Yeah the Duncans sounded better at it but the Gibson (496r to pair with 500t i assume?) has a harmonic thing that's nice as well, maybe suited for other things. You likethe Pearly Gates so far?

yea, for that kinda stuff, i also did a 50s mod while changing the pups, so now even the 496 is a bit brighter, but then it just doesnt cut it when you pump up the gain
nice for what I'm doing, but now my neck and bridge got output mismatch lol

love the 50s wiring, especially on a LP. so now you have the 500t and PG on the neck, of i assume, a LP Classic?

Two is One and One is None.
'59 pulak
and no need monitor speakers...just any decent speakers will do.
listening to music casually on monitor speakers not nice.
eh im confused...i thought the PG was to replace the bridge...
then why were u looking at a jazz? thats usually more popular in the neck.
