you could la, but at some point it feels wrong , it bugs me sometimes. with all the processing power these days, pre-amping/reamping/eqs. the sound of the equipment doesnt mean anything anymore

like i could make my tele chug on a marshall JMP with some manipulation. but it will never sound like that in a room and that much colouring to it

yea its a vintage style blackguard

i dont see it like that though..
i prefer not copy others tone 100%.. inspired ok.. to leave yourself some leeway for creativity/exploration
hmm but i do want a nice double cut like the Santana, never found the right one.
wish S2 got a Santana model instead of all these SEs that I dont like..

damn nice stuff honestly, could do a recording if you want

they sound nice, but i notice something about modern fenders even the CS, they are a bit more aggressive which i find it very weird. pedal show did one very good demo of the old and the new. my dano sounds closer to the blonde

which blonde, the rosewood board tele?
yes it sounds woodier, but too honky to my ears
i prefer dans red tele (which has don mares anyways)
there are things i dont agree with the pedal show guys but they are still one of the better shows out there biggrin.gif

i dont find the recent fenders too aggressive really, in fact i like teles that cuts and roars
the ones i dont like are the too bright but no personality, usually 90s to late '00 ones..

yea the rosewood, pedal guys is like the blues dad boss, same as the Captain from anderson laugh.gif

i guess its how we use them, i tend to like bright amps like the AC15 or a fender tweed, so that extra cut can be a bit too much.

played one like that before MIM in the 00's not sure why, hated that axe

i like that extra cut from a good tele, and when needed they can be rolled down for excellent jazz
the same does not apply to jazzmasters ironically. they are cutting but almost so bland you need some effects to pretty it up
anyways,
