quite a few complaints really, the colour was very deep blue which kinda makes the top look cheap. the SC beside was far better looking. frankly i don't understand the logic, its like you put some flame maple top and yet colour it soo dark where you can only see some streaks of the flame.

the guitar was tested thought a marshall JVM, the sound was a bit muddy and lacking in some of the clarity that PRS prides itself to have. maybe its the amp but i had the same experience with the other guitar that became the village bicycle.

the feel was ok, the guitar felt nice to the hand but it doesn't feel like omfg this is the most comfy neck ever.

i won't ming getting one at about 5-6 k la but a 12k guitar i think its not

just admit PRS isnt for you.

I did have that feeling while testing a CU24 with a pattern regular neck sometime ago, while another CE24 felt lackluster.

Probably not what people want in a PRS, yes. But not sure it was the problem there...

Bolt on has never been an issue right, all the guitar gods play bolt ons wut. Just people glorify over set necks having more this and that..

I somewhat prefer the CE than the Customs.. however many of them only have dot inlays instead of birdies or moonies

I quite like the birds especially when it's abalone, but could never get on with the gold hardware. I hope to get a PRS some day but then ended up with a Gibson again and again lol.

Have you tried a Hollowbody PRS?

considering they were only usd250 brand new... tongue.gif
for rm25k, back then i couldve bought five 60s SG jrs or ten 70s LP standards...
and now they would be worth triple...
too bad collectors latched onto them all within the last 3-4yrs.

actually MIA strats have gone up in price la.
for those at least 20yrs old...like a 1991 MIA strat rm2k also can get back then...now sell rm4-5k?
heck, MIM also gone up in price...i remember back then i got a 1995 MIM strat for rm600...now can easily sell rm2k.
a 2002 MIM tele i had also got around rm1.2k...now ah...rm2k also can...

as for MIJ...i recall a 1995 one was around rm1.8k...now brand new also can get same price...
so that 1995 one probably drop price already tongue.gif

see davis fender japan sale just posted recently only...
