Hey there, I have a question and I'm hoping to get really helpful answers  biggrin.gif

I've learned guitar for about 2 years around 6 years ago, but last year I recently got back into it.
But I only got it to play the bands and songs that I really love (aka playing for fun) and my guitar is in Dropped B tuning
I am very in to Visual Kei, J-Rock, Post Rock and Metal and I got the guitar and just learned off tabs and some parts by hearing (as I have a little guitar knowledge)

Recently I wanted to take guitar seriously and to learn it, as I am planning to take music in the future (I'm still in high school now and that is probably the best choice for me as of now)

I thought that it would be better to learn in standard tuning, of course. So I got a Spear Strat in standard tuning.
My theory and guitar knowledge is pretty low, but I'm not a complete beginner. I know the open chords, minor/major 7ths and some major/minor scales. Pretty basic.

I'm planning to learn by myself, but the thing is that I'm not quite sure how/where to start off and what I should do.

I hope you guys can help me out.

quite a few complaints really, the colour was very deep blue which kinda makes the top look cheap. the SC beside was far better looking. frankly i don't understand the logic, its like you put some flame maple top and yet colour it soo dark where you can only see some streaks of the flame.

the guitar was tested thought a marshall JVM, the sound was a bit muddy and lacking in some of the clarity that PRS prides itself to have. maybe its the amp but i had the same experience with the other guitar that became the village bicycle.

the feel was ok, the guitar felt nice to the hand but it doesn't feel like omfg this is the most comfy neck ever.

i won't ming getting one at about 5-6 k la but a 12k guitar i think its not

I used to think YES. But back then we have a big community for it. This kinda things need community to increase price.
Today , the collector's community is not like last time ..more people lose interest compared to entering the collecting game.

Then there is all sort of distractions , from boutique pedals , new IOS lifestyle guitar products to high end cables...i dono whats going on already 

Fun facts: I've look all around for a pickup set to match my S2 CU24 and after almost 10 tries I'm satisfied with a Gibson set

Still need to try 57/08, 59/09, \m/ but they're all ridiculously priced.

I got myself a used PRS CE24 alder body.

ME1 goes for about 22-26k used

no la its the model, on average a CU24,etcetc is about 7k which is not high.

the ME1 is expensive cause of its limited edition status, the neck (whole 1 pc brazilian rosewood) and that its probably the closest non private stock PRS around.

Kinda like a lil dream came true, even though I dont really play guitars nowadays.
