I think that's just a supplement.... I mean, referring to the ingredients.

the one hun was talking about comes in a rather big tub. looks nasty to me. >_< Slurp serving me well. after all, glider mix has been used by glider keepers and breeders internationally. plus we know what's going into the food. we even taste it ourselves. I'm waiting for my gliders to grow a little bigger first before I add honey into the mix. It'll taste even better with honey biggrin.gif

I change the flavours (I have 2-3 flavours stashed in the fridge) alternately. the babies love the stuff. everytime also polish their plates and eat until they look like hamsters sleep.gif and another good bit is that the food is watery so they get water as well cuz my gliders quite dumb dunno how to use the water bottle sweat.gif before this I also pour some milk (lactose and soy product free for pets) on top of the mix before serving.

the picture is right after meal time. just took.tongue.gif notice the freakishly large tummy. larkowen, if you're looking, that's your glider.

I bought those pellets from pet safari too. Not sure if their any good but my SGs don't like eating it. In fact they like these natural organic cat kibbles a lot. Roscoe will go through all the cat kibbles he can, greedy critter. Then look really desparate if I don't feed him the cat kibbles and start eating aspen ohmy.gif

Lucky that he now likes the mix I give him.

Anybody's SGs bite them like all the time? Everytime I put my hand in to touch them they will sniff at my fingers and then proceed to bite it. It doesn't seem vicious though. He will grab onto my finger with paws and claws and start biting and nibbling. Maybe my hand smells like food? I don't know....

actually I'd lean more towards dog food because cats are strictly carnivorous while gliders arent. they're omnivourous so dog food would be more suited for them since gliders, like dogs, take veggies, fruits and grains as well as meat. I've never tried kibbles before. only wet food. But do go for holistic food only. Look through the ingredients and make sure they are all acceptable by gliders.

I don't see any of what you mentioned. It only stated protein, honey and another thing... I forgot what is that, need to reconfirm.
Yes, you may but the pellet is not enough nutrient. My gliders ignore it. They don't like the pellet somehow. Make me wasted 20+  sweat.gif

I saw in the ingredients... or maybe I mixed up... lol, but I read a few brands of pellets for gliders online, all also soy base and has a lot of types of meal in them.... hahah, better stick to fresh foods for them I guess.

ooo... my glider will not bite when play with them but they will bite if they feel irritated. hahaha... especially the MiuMiu where she doesn't like being held and she bite quite hard, though no bleeding or anything.

Both of them like to lick my fingers hahaha... whenever I disturb them from sleep, they will start to lick my fingers and continue sleep back laugh.gif

ahhh... you very lucky lah... now I wonder, can train my Kiah not to bite? Well, it is not painful, more like nips but then it has become a bad habit already.

hmm... you like Kiah to nip or lick you? If you like her licking you, you can train her to lick you. How? try practice feeding her honey with your finger. Everytime you approach her with your finger, make sure you apply some honey on it. She sure will start to lick it. Try to make this as a practice on daily basis. Once she get use to it, she will start to lick whenever your finger approach her.

I have been using this method since the 1st day I have them laugh.gif

My Sasa & Benben used to bite me. But I take the bite la, then when they realize finger is not food, they stop biting me. Now they even take mealworms from me using their hand instead of their mouth.
