(in case if the SG pregnant) because im scared later the SG miscarriage (keguguran) Hi alie!BTW how to identify whether the SG are pregnant or not? from the pouch? How's ur suggie and the pouch? Well, yeah, basically you can carry your suggie anywhere because most of the day they are sleeping what. Just make sure you don't bring them to loud places or accidently bump smthing against it or drop them la. I've carry Iggy shopping with me, jalan2, breakfast at mamak and all, ofcourse he stays in the pouch sleeping happily. Whenever I need to speed up my pace or am at a slightly noisy area, I will hold him from outside the pouch gently, like cupped him like that But if ur suggie is pregnant, I'm not sure if it will do her any harm carrying her around. And I don't think we will now if she is pregnant or not until the joey is in the pouch. Anyone else knows? KP This post has been edited by krynzpeaches: Mar 7 2007, 05:45 PM |

QUOTE(alieamin @ Mar 7 2007, 06:08 PM) hi sis CC? Hmmm, u mean noisy with all the playing games sound all? Mebbe you can try to bring her one day. Iggy sleeps like a log. He moves or wingles a bit, if there are really loud noises around only. I passed by a band+singing performence on stage last weekend, held on to him and he just wingles a bit... Other than that, he just sleeps... Even when I softly pat him and try to wake him, he just looks up at me sleepily, blinks, then goes back to sleep my SG are fine and healthy noisy area? im working at CC, quite noisy I'm glad ur happy with the pouch KP |

Also because they have just found a sleeping place they like, so they just spend a little more time in it the first few times. Iggy was like that too when I first introduce him to his pouch, he slept like from the moment he went in (appx. 2pm) till god knows when late in the morning. I let him sleep in because I know he misses sleeping in pouches before Anyway, you can slowly wake her up if you want by gently rubbing her and calling her name Ohh, and yeah, since you already have the bonding pouch, you can bring her around anywhere you want too, just make sure you zip up the pouch KP Added on March 8, 2007, 10:14 am QUOTE(alieamin @ Mar 7 2007, 08:27 PM) since when? since i know u laaaa Yup, yup, the soft squeking sound means that he's enjoying the meal leng chai word oso u teach me rite? Yah... too much yogurt can cause diarrhea... same when you give too many crickets and mealworms.

Well funny news. My Kiki (the female) is superb. I think she has a special way of handling stress - eat.
When she's scared, it's freaking easy to calm her down. Just shove a piece of apple her way and she'll be happily munching down on it, oblivious to everything else happening around her. We're having steamboat one day and my friend brought Kiki and Rambo to my house. Rambo was so freaked out that he refused to get out of the pouch. Originally Kiki was afraid, but I fed her a small piece of fishball and she just sat there on the couch, munching happily making all sorts of happy sounds. Heck, we even left her there for like 30 mins and when we checked back she's still eating happily, not running around! Yesterday, I told my friend to train the gliders how to eat mealworms. I suggested to her to cut off the worm's head, then squeeze out the juices and mix them with the apples to get them familiarized with mealworms. Guess what. The moment my friend threw the worm into the cage (since she don't have the heart to squeeze the juices out), Kiki jumped 3 stories down from her nest and started on the mealworm like a kid introduced into a candy shop. Then she put in another worm, and that greedy bugger took the other mealworm on another hand, and started alternating between each worm on each of her hands. Funny girl. Rambo however was consistently cautious. He wouldn't touch the worms, and chose to sulk at one side munching on an apple while studying the happy-as-hell Kiki eating the new food. Only when he was sure the worms didn't kill Kiki did he went over and tasted it. Funny buggers. |
