Hehe..Chiwek sleeps everywhere . He even explored and slept inside my car's gear shaft cover I had to unscrew the whole dashboard to retrieve him. Chiwek in the process spoiled my power window switch. Have to go and repair later.
Heh..so you must have cut his nails before letting Chiwek into your shirt la My friend said Chiwek is the luckiest male glider and the most pervert one too (cos his penis is always on the prowl)

Wah so nice can let it roam at work. I can't let mine out in the office because they would have a field day running around and I would never find them again! I miss my babies today, left them at home instead of bringing them along to the office.

The reason> they chewed a hole into their wooden cage! I can't blame them though they were inside for 13hours. Then they started chewing the wood at the top of the basket till there was a hole.. I was so afraid that they will hurt their snout or eyes or even swallow the splinters. So I left my friends just after 5minutes of sitting down. So naughty!

At home I let them out and Roscoe acted all sweet. I was sitting on the floor and he came and smelled me. Then he put his front paws on my lap and looked at me. even climbed up and sat on my knee. Then he scent marked me all over! Damn sweeeeeet!

Wahhhhhh.. that's so sweet~ He knows you're his friend liao~

Everytime i take my SG out from the cage...carry him...if he is wide awake and energetic...he would try to look out for his cage...and sendiri climb back there....

This morning Chiwek came into my warm comforter and start biting my finger. So the whole morning I some sort finger wrestling (i called it wrestling, but it's something like dogs playing with each other) with him...as he keep biting me all over struggling to win. His bite is so manja. I play until he tired and fall sleep.

I went magic jamming today a bit, and walked past a shop with hamsters,,, then reminded me of Sgs again... I think I can spare time for one, but Im concerned about hiding it when Im in college ><

when u in college, he will sleep inside the bag lo. Mine is with me wherever I go. Except for swimming. I'm more in on-site visits, thus he will follow me whereever I go. Even outstations > <

EDIT : oh, and I have always heard that hamsters die mysteriously wan, suddenly die the next day... Will this hapen to SGs?

normally in the day time they will sleep like a pig. (as suiteng says)

they will wake up to drink a lil water or eat a lil then terus go back to sleep.

when they are young, they'll pee in the pouch.. when they get older, they pee outside their pouch, when they are awake.

as for cage, just buy a nice tall bird cage.. pet safari has it. RM100. big and spacious enough for them to climb around and jump around.

and we usually get our gliders from forummers. tagreptiles and smellyocheese can get for you if you're really interested.

College student, I am also college student... my advice... get your gliders during your holidays to pratice bonding. Do under shirt bonding for best results in short time hahahah... Also, do get a good cotton pouch.

Bring a small piece of fruit with you to college... I bring my frozen glider mix so it is easier. After makan sure sleepy so gliders will sleep.

When you have bought them or 1 glider, let it get used to loud noises. On loud radio, bring it outdoors to hear cars and all other noises. When my glider was younger, I brought her to movie set where got many people cheering over sumo wrestling, that was good loud noise and my glider just sleep and sleep without waking up.

Glider will pee and poo in the pouch normally. Anyway, I bring my glider to college everyday in my bag. My lecturers all know bout my glider, even play with her.

What you can do is find out bout your college's rules and regulation... mine got no rules about pets and quite a number of people bring their pets for assignment purposes. Once there is no stated rule or got a loop hole, then get your glider lah.

If your glider crabs, just tell people is your new ring tone hahahah... Hey, it REALLY works!!!

But remember, do bond first and really, the best time is when you are having your holidays, during that time you can teach your glider to stay in pouch for long periods and study its naturally waking and feeding time and also it's habits.

Now glider joey harder to get liao... went to Pet Family just now, seems got a long list of people that book joeys. Wah, good business now... but then hope those joeys that were sold were all properly weaned off lah.
