That is 'self-proclaimed'. But seems like a legit news, it is all over the internet.

It's MU. Sure spread like wildfire regardless of whether it's true or not. Especially player unhappiness

Sneijder: Van Gaal bid hard to refuse

Wesley Sneijder has said he would find it hard to reject a move to Manchester United if new manager Louis van Gaal wanted to sign him.

The midfielder, a target for Sir Alex Ferguson during the final years of his reign at Old Trafford, is a key member of Van Gaal's Netherlands squad and won his 100th cap in the 5-1 thrashing of World Cup holders Spain.

Sneijder, 30, the joint top scorer at the 2010 World Cup, when he scored five goals, and a Champions League winner at Inter Milan, has spent the last 18 months at Galatasaray.

Speaking at a news conference prior to the Netherlands' game against Australia, he said: "I am happy at Galatasaray, I have established myself at the club and have settled in.

"However, if Van Gaal were to make me an offer, I would have to at least consider it. Nobody from the Netherlands can simply reject Van Gaal.

"In the Netherlands, Van Gaal is something like the head teacher of a school. Not everyone is lucky enough to get into his good books. He trains his players very hard, and always expects the highest standards."

i like sneijder ... good if he come even as a short term investment. important thing is to get back where we are. he's probably those with long lasting like giggsy, not really have to sprint up and down but most dangerous are his through passes... ok what...

I think he do good. He is not as explosive as Robben (maybe not showing yet). But his decision on the ball and off the ball are pretty good. He is not blindly doing cross like Young and Nani. He is calm and effectively using his chance.

At least he's not as 1 dimension like both Young and nani. Sell both Valencia and Nani and get him!

Van Gaal: 'Depay has the ability to dribble past people. That's rare these days. He has a fantastic shooting technique as well.'

Depay plays similar to the old Nani.. Not the current one.

Without Indi for the next game, it's back to 4-3-3 for holland.. All out attack vs all out attack.. Should be a cracker of a match..
