Paris Saint-Germain will consider a summer move for Wayne Rooney.
Should Louis van Gaal's appointment as Manchester United manager go through this week, Rooney’s future at the club will be cast into doubt.
Already there have been rumours Rooney is worried about his prospects if the Dutchman gets the job.

With van Gaal in charge Robin van Persie, who was set to quit the club in the summer, is likely to be persuaded to stay.
And van Gaal, who will manage Van Persie with Holland at the World Cup, is set to make his compatriot the main man up front and perhaps even offer him the captaincy.
With other forwards likely to be signed, Rooney could well face a struggle for a place in the starting line-up.
Certainly his nose will be put out of joint just a few months after committing his future to United on a massive £300,000-a-week deal.
But that deal means that the club will now be able to command a decent price for Rooney – had he not signed then his fee would have dipped under the £10million mark this summer, given that he only has a year left on his contract

But United could ask for around £35m for the 28-year-old England striker.
Chelsea are unlikely to be interested any longer and no other English club would want to meet Rooney’s transfer fee and wages. PSG though would, despite them facing sanctions from UEFA (in the Champions League) under Financial Fair Play regulations.
The ambitious French club were poised to make a move for Rooney in January but United decided to meet his pay demands.
It is believed the player is reluctant to leave the Premier League but a move to PSG may prove his best option if he is no longer central to Van Gaal’s plans.
In the meantime, Rooney is battling to be fit for the World Cup.
It is feared a lingering groin injury which has kept him out of action could actually be a hernia problem which requires surgery.

Cavani can backtrack too? Never seen(or never noticed to be precise) his style of play before. If so, I don't mind too. Wages too high can disrupt team harmony make people jealous I think 

Giggs played the similar lineup bar the striker during Moyes reign.TBH,the cente of the midfield is pretty much "broken".Even if u replace with Cleverley or OOF Fellaini,you still can't do anything. Signing midfield steel like William Carvalho.. would be a good signing.Plus,if LVG do takes over,he'll either play flat 4-3-3 or attacking 4-3-3..which would give Mata and Kagawa a chance to show their creativity in the latter formation.
Cavani is a hardworker striker eh? Kinda like Welbeck but better?

Do you guys think we should keep Rooney?

Rooney can be a world class CM. But he just don't see it that way. He is pretty confidence he is a world class STR, which is good determination but bad for Man Utd. So unless he accepts his role as CM, he will do no good to us and it is wise he just leave.

LvG wants the job but no offer has been made. He is disappointed it turned out like that. He still wants the job but says there are other offers available.

Is this because they cannot decide who to hire or are still looking for other better options? Or is this because they cannot agree on a fee for LvG?

Seems they are repeating the same self destruct process as last summer. Will we end up last minute cannot hire any brand name coach and get AvB/Gus Poyet instead, with only got one month to rush transfers? And this time, AFTER a World Cup?

And with news leaks of the entire indecisive process dragging the Man United name through the mud because some people think any publicity, good or bad, is good publicity?

The jersey is okay la. At least to me. With that sleeves and neck, damn look oldskol.

It's just the sponsor. The designer can't simply change the logo to black/white, or just put the wording only.

Man United have sent representatives to Paris to discuss the possibility of securing powerful forward Edinson Cavani and Ed Woodward believes a £60m offer will be accepted by the Ligue 1 side as they look to balance the books so as to avoid UEFA punishment that hovers over them due to the inability to adhere to their FFP (Financial Fair Play) guidelines.

Louis van Gaal is keen to partner Cavani with Robin Van Persie in a two pronged attack whilst using Wayne Rooney in a withdrawn role that the England man has thrived in. In order to make room for the 27 year old Uruguayan Man United will listen to offers for back-up strikers Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez.

I wouldn't get Edinson Cavani,i'll just straightaway play Chicharito/Welbeck rotate or promote James Wilson..

Current line-up without any signings for next season.You cannot do anything in the centre of the midfield..

i think this is a bit harsh for him. if we gonna count on experience then none of the youngsters will have a chance to develope. I think buttner has the desire to do well. only with more games can he be an integral part of our team moving fwd.

With no Europe next season almost becoming a certainty, I don't see why Janujaz couldn't play most of the games. He would have first full season under his

belt already, hopefully another good pre-season, he would become stronger and experienced next season. He is the best winger this season without a doubt and

he will be for years to come if he continues the rate of development like he is having now. For me, he is less frustrating to watch compared to CR7 when he is at

that age.  Unless the new manager somehow doesn't fancy playing Janujaz, that's different story. 

3 strikers are not bad IMHO. I don't think RvP's form have been affected much at all. He got injured much of the season, yes but United's form generally have

been patchy, including other players. Welbeck's form has been good, even though there are many haters out there. In the league, his stats are not that much

different from that 30+ million Negredo. How much is Welbeck?  Even if we offload Rooney, the three of them are more than enough, especially if there is no

Europe next season. Just don't see why United would want to spend that much of money, on a single player, that wanted to get out of PSG, just because he is

second best? Heard that one before somewhere  I would love to see either of those 3, but don't be surprised if neither would come. I was really surprised

when United got Mata, but it would be a really major coup if United could tempt Reus. Maybe after next season, when United got back to the top, playing good

football with a certain style.
