QUOTE(Minecrafter @ May 10 2014, 10:00 PM) I wouldn't get Edinson Cavani,i'll just straightaway play Chicharito/Welbeck rotate or promote James Wilson.. next season is gonna be crucial... very very crucial. if we dont win the league, we will then be used to mediocre seasons just like what the other teams were facing. Therefore, at whatever cost, we have to go for the title. So, Cavani being here will only help us in our quest next season...GK:DDG RB:Rafael CBs:Chris Smalling,Phil Jones LB:Alexander Buttner CMs:ADOI PENING KEPALA!! X2 LM:Tom Lawrence RM:Adnan Januzaj CAM:Juan Mata CF:Robin van Persie Current line-up without any signings for next season. You cannot do anything in the centre of the midfield.. |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ May 10 2014, 10:27 PM) As I've stressed before, we need another striker. i think this is a bit harsh for him. if we gonna count on experience then none of the youngsters will have a chance to develope. I think buttner has the desire to do well. only with more games can he be an integral part of our team moving fwd.1) RVP is 30. He is not young anymore, injuries and fatigue will set in over the course of the season. 2) Chica/Welbeck cannot be relied on to delivered the goals as a main strikers because they are mostly used as 'second-string'. Look at the number of goals scored between them. 3) Wilson is only 18. You don't expect him to play week in week out without being worn off halfway through the season. The case of Michael Owen. 4) Rooney does not score often. He scores for fun. He is not going to get us 20 goals every season, maybe once a blue moon. 5) Next season is a VERY IMPORTANT season. We need to rebuild our reputation, using players like Tom Lawrence and Januzaj? Realistically? Come on, they are FUTURE prospects, not CURRENT prospects. 6) With the lineup that you are predicting, that is good enough for a Carling Cup match, not BPL. We need experienced players. With the current squad, we cannot even score 60 goals in the league this season. We need a new striker. Buttner for main LB? Don't hope on it. He does not have the experience to handle big games. |

Wilfried Zaha hits out at former Man Utd boss David Moyes
http://www.offthepost.info/blog/2014/05/wi...Off+The+Post%29 QUOTE “I hope to still have a future there. I will go in for pre-season and give my best. Had the manager stayed, I am not sure if that would have been the case. “I have four years left on my contract at United. Had Moyes stayed I would have had to think about some other options.” so Zaha thinks he's Saha izit? |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ May 12 2014, 02:55 PM) Shaw for 27mil feels just right for me. The lad has a bright future ahead of him, he is playing as if he is having a handful of experience with him. Young, fast, strong, not afraid to make decisions. #apalagiumau? agree with this. with the way player transfer fees are going, it might be our greatest regret if we let this one out of the net. its a price to pay for a period of the next 10-15 years with this 18 year old kid His value will soar in future if he develops well. Plus, he's English |

QUOTE(three2wan @ May 12 2014, 07:47 PM) Another top manager will be available. Need you guys opinion bout dis manager. Will he be suit with man utd philosophy? dont think and also hope the board wont make the same mistake again. the new manager needs to have experience. LVG would be the sensible choice with experience all over europe. no disrespect to Conte though but he's not comparable to LVG yet. still young and long way to go....sos cili mcd |

read news that Rio was only told that no contract renewal just after last game by Ed. must have been tough for him. great servant and should have been told earlier so that both vidic and him could have a proper send off together....

QUOTE(gr8fr8 @ May 19 2014, 05:48 PM) Ahhh. Garay. The ever-lasting rumour since 430 B.C. haha, yeah lor, thats why i revisited his age and he's 27 dunno why i tot he'd be much older. After watching the German Cup final, if United need to buy a CB, none better than Hummels. Just superb in that game. Could have a goal if not for lack of goal line tech. Reminds me of the old Rio. Not all action like Vida or perhaps Subotic but very composed on the ball and clean tackles. Jones need to control his "bravery" more, if not he won't have long career. anyway, as much as i want hummels on our side, our purchasing power has kinda spiral downwards past few seasons. so not gonna pin high hopes on hummels and rather set my expectation low so that if/when woodward screws up, the fall wont be too hurting ( sound like a pessimistic fool) anyway, i dont think any player would like to be transferred to a new club where the manager is still unknown. so, we definately need to confirm the new manager first before anything else. which makes me wonder, who actually asked for the signing of the 17 year old keeper?? DM long time ago, giggsy, or the youth team coaches??? who who who??? |

of the many positions that Jones has played so far. the one that i see him play to 'devastating' effect (a bit too dramatic, i know
having said that, his physique would be such a waste if he's no operating in centre back positions. In def mid role pulak, good in marking but not much contribution in initiating attacks.... imo |
