You don't know what you are missing out banks. The Nightfall Bonus pack contains a "FREE" character slot which is worth USD 9.99 and also 2 max level weapon (Icy Soulbreaker [Scyth] and Fiery Sunspear [Spear]) which has uniquely cool skins that are perfectly upgraded with weapon mods. They are really good weapons if you ever decide to roll a Dervish or Paragon in Nightfall. I would advise keeping the Bonus Pack until you get Nightfall then decide wether you want to sell it. BTW of all the prerelease bonus pack, NF has the best deal. Factions' bonus is kinda sucky, and Proph was lame. Well maybe all that are because NF came in latest. GW:EN? Don't even mind bout it, except for the Glacial Blade

Ohh..ok. Just that I think it's a waste to sell it off cause those bonus weapons will help you greatly when starting a NF character.

As for the best deal I think NF win because of the extra character slot but some of the weapons from the other bonus pack are quite good as well. Here's my pick :

[Proph] Serrated Shield (A good Tactic shield with +30HP mod)
[Proph] Sundering Rhino's Charge (A good strong melee weapon if you don't have the Soulbreaker from NF Bonus pack)
[Fac] Dragon Fangs & Spiritbinder (The only bonus weapon that lets you mod the prefix & suffix)
[NF] Icy Soulbreaker (Best weapon for my Derv. I use it until today not to mention is has a cool skin (pun intended) )
[NF] Fiery Sunspear (A good weapon for any class because of the +5 Energy bonus)
[EOTN] Hourglass Staff (A overall good caster staff with general stats so any caster can use it)

Unless you of couse include Bonus Mission Pack which I think have the best selection of weapons which is available in 4 different flavour (Tengu / Charr / Undead / Mursaat)

NF can hire heroes, right? What about EN?
If I have EN then I can hire heroes too?

Is there any shop selling NF? I can't find it at TSB and pcgame.com also.

I want to sell the bonus pack so I don't have to pay over RM200 to have all GW. RM138-RM45 = RM107. Hope that's enough to buy NF. Or else I regret not waiting for e-club to restock the GW trilogy be4 buying ><

1) Heroes are only available in NF and EOTN but 2 of them are special (Zenmai & Olias) which can only be access if you have Proph+Fac+NF combo. EOTN has a totally different set of heroes.

2) If you can't get Nightfall at the local store you can always purchase it online via the in-game store (unless of course you don't have a credit card...if so maybe ask someone who does buy it for you then pay them back).

3) All of the bonus pack rare items now since they don't sell it anymore (not even at the online store) so that's why I would advise you to keep it but you may do as you please since the pack does belong to you.

4) No choice...have to work on weekdays so weekends are the only time I can make full use of.

5) Try typing "/bonus" at the chat window. You should be able to get all the bonus items that comes with the GOTY edition. Same goes for other bonus pack.

I'm currently studying at the UK and how am I suppose to get this game? Can't I just get the latest patch and start off? Are you guys playing on the US based servers or Asia based?

1. Get it at ncsoft store?
2. After you get the game it will patch whenever there's new contents.
3. I play Asia based server, the chinese server, since geographically, it's closer to malaysia

You can just buy NF and play. It's stand-alone. This applies to GW and Factions as well.
If you want to play EotN you will need at least 1 stand-alone game, that is, you must have either GW, Factions or NF.

For now other than retail outlets, you should be able to buy it online. There's the Triology pack released recently via NCSoft.

Guildwars Triology

Just remember you'll only receive the digital key, and the rest of the data, I mean files, need to be downloaded. If you're on O2 8Mbps or faster, it'll just take a few hours. A trick to it is to add command line argument:

(copy from Guild Wars Wiki)

1. Right click on your Guild Wars shortcut and select 'Properties'.
2. In the 'Target Area' field you will see the location of your Guild Wars executable file:

"<...>\Guild Wars\Gw.exe"

3. Write the desired command line arguments after the quote marks, each beginning with a space:

"<...>\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image

for complete command line list available go Here, so that you can customize your GW client and won't make any accidental mistake with the game client.

Oh and before I forgot, it doesn't matter where you live, you can always hop from one server to the other.
GW districts are :
America (English), Europe (English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish), Asia (Korean, Traditional Chinese), Japan (Japanese, duh ) and International.
We usually juggle between USA and Korean server. But in your case Europe server would be the fastest one.

Well if you can let you computer run overnight then you can just collect 250 Victory Tokens then park your character at Shing Jea Monestary to get the mask during the Festival Finale starting at 7.00pm on Sunday, June 5th Local Time (If my calculations are correct ) If not you can still get the mask from Imperial Supply Master Kagno after the event (June 6-12) in exchange for 250 tokens.

Nah mate, you'd need at least one standalone campaign (either Prophecies, Factions, of Nightfall) and then EoTN on top of that in order to play EoTN.
Cuz EoTN is only an expansion pack, it can't run by itself. BTW yes it is the latest release for Guild Wars, if that's what you meant by patch. Just get it mate, gonna be worth every penny spent

Nightfall then EoTN can do, or maybe you wanna get the trilogy + EoTN, it's cheaper in the long run since single standalone is getting uncommon/rare for brick and mortar stores.

You can change server at will ingame anytime anywhere, from experience Euro and Asia had less lag than US usually, if either Euro/Asia acted up and lag, I switch between them to get better ping.

US: constant 500-600ping tho still playable at best.
EU: 200-300ping, very good ping for us Malaysians.
Asia: 200-300ping, can get 100ping range sometimes, godsend for us.

Lets say I change server from Eu to Asia, can I still contact the players that are located at Eu?

Trilogy is for individual who desire to collect the 'hardware' huh. : D

Not really though. It's really cheaper to buy all at once rather than seperately. You're living in uk right? I think the shop in uk should be selling Guild Wars : The Complete Collection (All 3 GW + expansion).
