Hmm... maybe you can try getting an updated DAT file so you don't have to DL that much to play, do you have a storage media which can hold around or more than 3.6Gb? I live in Sunway.

Another method is that you open GW shortcut properties and add " -image " to your shortcut, it should read as below:-

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image

This command will DL the current most up to date files, GW will quit after all the files are aquired, then you remove " -image " from your shortcut, your GW is complete and ready to go then, you need to let it DL for sometime though(a night maybe?), but after this DL you don't have to DL much aside from new updates and loading between zones will be a breeze(which should better your GW experience).

I'm guessing, at some point local distributor trying to make the game sell better by installment payment for the box, not sure how well it goes tho, so any GW box that you see in the market 99.99% should be "once activated free for life".

"Game Of The Year" upgrade of GW:Prophecies does indeed looks tempting.

Either www.tsb.com.my , www.pcgame.com.my or www.mygomall.com will do. Brick and mortar shops also have a higher chance to have GW if they are more on the ori side. Sunway Pyramid IT center have it while I heard Mid Valley also have it.

Subang area:-
FTZ - very good systems, so far the best which have GW.
KAOS - somewhere around FTZ too.

but due to GW frequent updates, CC's GW seems always have tons to download, duh, its advisable to bring the DAT file when going though (weather CC allow thumbdrive is another issue), 4 GB thumbdrive will house the DAT nicely.

I won't mind giving you the key if it still work(trial keys from GW boxes, so i have a few collecting dust), but it might be advisable to DL the client first and get all its files(around 3GB), as the trial key is time based(so your playing time won't be bumped by loading files as you enter new places.

Or find somebody to get GW CD(any standalone, GW:Nightfall recommended) to install the game(reduce most of the DL time).

Or you can play at any cyber cafe which have GW installed and most up-to-date, currently the CC which have GW with minimal DL is FTZ in subang, KAOS might also quite up-to-date, also in subang.

Actually you don't need all the files(around 3GB), just a few minutes of download, you will be taken to the login screen with the client(very small).

The problem is that the game downloads on demand, so everywhere which you go for the first time, it downloads the nessesary files needed for the map, which means its cutting away your trial key time(which is 10hours within a period of 14days, which ever comes first).

Tip: After you installed GW(client here), leave the GW login screen open for an hour or two, so it downloads most of the vital files itself, it should be enough for your demo i guess.

Uh... I guess you better try out PvE since there is no more premade characters, and probably your skills are also locked, PvP zones to fight real humans is unlock when you win certain amount of matches VS those npcs.

There is no such thing as PvP server, just PvP characters(characters which can only go to PvP zones) and PvE characters(characters which can go to both PvE and PvP zones).

Arenanet may not do CE for GW:EN since its a real expansion, well thats what I hope, saves my wallet.

Hmmm... Anyone who did bought Guild Wars: Game of the Year Edition, how did the game give you the special weapons? is it that there is another key code for you to key in to get the weapons or the weapons are already within the game activation code itself?

Yea, I know how to spawn the weapons, but the point is I don't want to waste a full prophecies account if the weapons code is the same code as the game itself, stacking GW:GOTY with the old prophecies won't get any bonus other than the weapons.

But if the code is separated, then the game code is free to create an account, while the weapons code will be binded to my current account.

Which my question to anyone who owns GW:GOTY, is the code separated or just a single code?
