I will respond to your message when I return on 13/05/2007.
I can also tell that she/he is confused on her dates. laugh.gif

Can't they just get someone else to answer my question. By time she answers me, I will probably be at a camera shop getting the S3IS already. tongue.gif

Just send it to canon SC. You will lucky if they cannot fix it. Will replace a S5IS latest model for you. rclxms.gif

Yeah. Many people don't read email. So send it directly to Canon at Subang.

When I dropped my canon.. I send them an email whether can it be fixed.. Till now my camera is fixed, still no reply from them.. I guess they just don't check their mail as kelvinyam said..

It works with the 4gb SDHC la.. CONFIRM.. Personally tried.. There's a UK or US base forum (i'm not sure) but its a purely s3is forum.. Most of them are using SDHC.. Some uses 4GB, and some are using 8GB.. It works fine according to them too.. SDHC is definitely something when taking high quality videos.. I'm looking forward for a hi-speed SDHC.. RAW takes FOREVER!!!.

Yeah, I checked many forums. They all do confirm that S3IS supports SDHC too.

I want to buy 4GB SDHC. But due to budget constrain, maybe I'll just stick to 2GB, unless I can get a good price for the camera itself.

Btw, is this camera tough enough to be brought around walking in busy streets? Lol.. I worry the heavy camera breaks easily when knocked here and there. tongue.gif

mengsuan.. Why not? I can see that u'r abit anxious in getting ur camera.. Lotsa questions poppin out at random.. Hahahah..

Carrying ur S3 outdoor shouldn't have any problems.. If you don't mind the hassle of protecting it against snatch thieves or something.. If you're in a crowded area, you're more concern about people stealing ur camera, than the camera itself getting damaged.. Still, take extra precaution of the camera, as the body is plastic.. I dropped mine a couple of weeks ago and something just snapped out, got it fixed at canon on the spot..

Julchin.. Damn.. Why didn't I thought of the photo counter.. I'll check it out soon..

Yeah.. indeed. The anxiety increases as I'm soon gonna get the camera. tongue.gif I'm kinda paranoid on my gadgets too. I'll always try to do as much research as possible before making a purchase. laugh.gif

Hmm... The specs of the Sony H7 is pretty impressive compared to S3IS, not to mention that it is one whole year newer than S3IS.

How did you convert from USD 322 into RM1699 btw? Your conversion rate is pretty high. tongue.gif Joking...

I think S3IS is still worth a buy. I'm sure we can get cheaper than 1699 on streets. Moreover, S3IS uses cheaper memory cards. laugh.gif
