A few complaints here. I'm using cm11 nightly roms, so far ok. Tried walking with Google map from Bangsar McDonald to Bangsar LRt over 1km few days ago it was accurate.

Using cm11 nightly rom the stock camera has very fast focus when set under continuous focus setting. As easy as point and click.

QUOTE(M.Tucker @ Jun 10 2014, 09:18 AM) hi guys, as last reported was on the Energy ROM over the weekend. Hit a snag tho, it seems the kernel it comes with has a problem with auto-rotation. Since its a stock based rom, tried flashing an updated kk modem to fix it, however, started getting really bad battery drain, and sygic stopped working properly. Thanks for your feedback will give it a look. Btw where is the download page? Clicked but it only shows list of developers.Did a clean flash and now on P.A.C. rom, which is basically a souped up version of cm11. I must say i'm liking it a lot! best of all it supports double tap on lockscreen to put display to sleep!!! so now i have knock functionality just like stock ROM!! will be trying different kernels over the next couple of days to see which gives the best battery life vs performance. stock AOSP camera isn't that great when compared to stock, but there is a modded version of the LG camera app that works pretty well. tried energy rom, very smooth and fast, unfortunately the Wifi Hotspot isn't working so I had to reinstall another rom. Any workaround for it?

QUOTE(M.Tucker @ Jun 16 2014, 03:15 AM) I'm waiting for the rom maintainer to update it to the kitkat sources as well. Def the best stock based rom i've tried. Hope a new version comes out soon. Gonna try cloudyg3 Only used it for less than 10 minutes due to the Wifi hotspot problem. Also if not mistaken there is no expanded view ie. To hide status bar and navigation keys? Volume seems to be too loud until speaker crackles, compared to cm11 Max volume also nowhere as near but doesn't crackle. Compared to cm11 it does seem more responsive though. I'm back to latest cm11 milestone edition until a better version of energy rom comes along. Any other roms similar to energy but has the Wifi hotspot fixed and comes with expanded view? |

QUOTE(ArthurMickey @ Jun 19 2014, 01:15 AM) Better don't flash if u r not sure, bound to brick your device. I used the guide from page 1, encountered some problems but luckily using Autorec managed to install recovery. Threadstarter should update the first page to recommend using Autorec to install recovery rather than the long-winded process. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Jun 19 2014, 01:37 AM |

QUOTE(ArthurMickey @ Jun 19 2014, 08:41 AM) I'm using Cynogenmod 11 snapshot version. Tried cloudyflex 2.3 before and energy rom. Cloudyflex gave very low scores on antutu, sometimes only 16k when hot compared to CM11 29k when hot and 34-35k when cool. The theme engine also looks nice and overall it has the stock Android look like Nexus 5.Energyrom is very fast but Wifi hotspot not working and doesn't have expanded view. Will try Pacman when I have time to save my files. |

QUOTE(M.Tucker @ Jun 20 2014, 06:06 PM) quoting Cloudyfa from the xda-dev thread, : Yours is the Korean version with sdcard slot and TV antenna?1. App Info: G3 has SDcard built-in, that's why it require more work to figure it out and remove it completely for other variant except F320 (sadly its my device, but lucky for F320 users ) and it will take more time for me to fix it. Ofc LG handle that differently now, not just a framework edit. Btw, if you wanna uninstall an app, you can press Menu (3 dots) at App Drawer screen and choose "Edit/Uninstall Apps", if you wanna do more, you can use Titanium Backup. |
