Celcom now busy with their 3G plans...

Dont always unanswer unrelated topics.. no wonder ur post counts increased a lot.

It is true that Celcom is doing their best to promote their 3G plan...even go pasar malam or shopping market can saw the celcom crew are promoting their 3G plan with cheap starter pack, free gift and etc...

The most I saw their promoting other than 3G plan is only their old X-Pax....their crew offered me RM10 for the starter pack in order for me to use the Celcom postpaid

celcom just sent me colour sms.. service message.. any 1 recieve?? stated free trial.. never bother about it..

i m acelcom user too...usin postpaid minutes plan...but whn i compare wit maxis...it seems that celcom's rate is mor xpensive..thus most of my frens oso use maxis don wan use celcom...isit true guyz?

That depends on the majority numbers u call, but to be frank, celcom's plan is the best for (business) people calling out to not only celcom, but as well as fixed lines and cross-operators like digi and others mixed.

If u r a medium/light user, different plans just give u a bill difference of a few ringgits, not worth to bother much.

Other things u may consider is coverage, of which celcom has the advantages of. One of the weak points of celcom's is if u want auto-roaming, u need to pay RM300 (refundable) for deposits (for local/domestic, if i am not mistaken, u need not pay deposit), whereas maxis requires RM100 for domestic and global roaming as well.

Although there are many perks with Celcom, such as broadcast info, superior coverage, I am still somewhat a tad reluctant to subscribe to it due to my past experience with celcom's bad billing system and bad inefficient customer service.

It's ok with celcom IF you dont get into trouble with their service, but when you do, you will find it difficult to solve the problem due to their atrocious customer service with the 'tidak apa attiude'

i've been using maxis for 5 years... but after changing to celcom, i'll never look back... celcom improved a lot nowadays...

my boss yesterday send me sms...but i didt receive ...till 2day OMG dono is celcom or not...many times edi tis thing happen..sometimes i didt use oso it will engage...gona make report ahih

Just spoke to Celcom careline pertaining the air time cheating and they will investigate it.

I spoke with them in Mandarin ... quite nice..... but they dont want to reveal the new plan but as wat i noticed, it may for corporate users only....

Celcom To Launch Most Powerful Postpaid Plan


KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 (Bernama) -- Celcom (M) Bhd is confident of dominating the postpaid market with the launch of its most powerful postpaid plan, said its chief executive officer.

"The plan, which is expected to be launched May 17, will provide users with a more tailored product that would appeal to various cross-segments of the market.

"I am quite sure we will dominate the postpaid segment... bearing in mind we can be flexible with our data, third-generation, general packet radio service and roaming," Celcom chief executive officer, Datuk Shazalli Ramli, told reporters after a media conference on the new plan here Monday.

Celcom's current market share for postpaid is about the same as rival Maxis' market share.

The new postpaid plan comprises three different packages -- normal postpaid, minutes postpaid and family postpaid.

The normal postpaid package requires no monthly commitment and users only need to pay as they use and pay a low access fee.

Under the minutes postpaid, users can expect more minutes, lower rates and greater savings, with free short messaging services (SMS) and voice calls as low as 14.3 sen per minute to any mobile or fixed number.

The family postpaid offers 3,000 free minutes, free 200 SMS, unlimited free calls to 'family lines' and one flat rate to all numbers.

It also offers the lowest rate of 13.3 sen per minute, and has up to three free additional lines with RM1,400 credit limit with no access fee and no deposits.

Agreed. I have been a subscriber (minutes plan) just over a year. Initially there were problems with my billing but they managed to solved it amicably. The new Celcom is better than before. Keep it up Celcom!
