I bet you know about CEP 50 discount rate? In case you not sure -

Monthly domestic call/sms/video call/Pay per use internet/data usage > RM60 will get 10% discount.
                                        "                                                          > RM80 will get 20% discount.
                                        "                                                          > RM150 will get 30% discount.
*
Actually sometimes when you use like around RM145, you should make excessive calls to make it increase upto RM150, because of the discount. tongue.gif
Else if you remain at RM145, you will suffer lost.
This is quite interesting calculation la, i count this personally because my parents are using Celcom Executive 50.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually, if u managed to use like around RM145, dont just increase that up to RM150, make it RM200.

30% x RM150 = RM45
RM45 - RM150 = RM105
RM105 + RM50 (commitment) = RM155.

If you make call around RM150.

30% x RM100 = RM30
RM30 - RM100 = RM70
RM70 + RM50 = RM120

You'll save RM45, with 5 more hour compare to RM150 usage. That reduce your rate down to 12cent/minute.

I think you mistaken the RM50 commitment fees.
The RM50 commitment fees is not added to the bill just for nothing.
It can be ignored if your bill is more than RM50.
The meaning of RM50 commitment is if you use less than RM50, you also need to pay RM50.

Actually the calculation should be like this if you use RM150:

30% x RM150 = RM45
RM45 - RM150 = RM105
RM105 + RM50 (commitment) = RM155.
RM155 - RM50 (commitment) = RM105.

If less than RM50, let's say you use RM35, you still need to pay RM50.

i want to highlight something here.. regarding discount on CEP50.

bill ammount rm60 above get 10% discount
rm80 above get 20% discount
rm150 above get 30% discount

bill amount is total bill for call/sms/mms/video call/data (gprs/3g) charges.. but the discount applicable to voice call and sms only (i read in their TnC)..

so let say you make call/sms rm30... and using gprs/3g rm60.. your bill total rm90.. mean you eligible to get 20% discount..

but the 20% discount applicable to call/sms only.. (mean 20% from rm30 = rm6.00 discount only). not 20% from rm90.

am i correct? hmm.gif

really??!! rclxms.gif
i am thinking to do so in near future.
but its not becoz of the 3g, its actually becoz of my simcard data (phonebook, sms, etc) cannot be read...
i ask a shop, he said its not phone problem. its because of the type (or size..) of the sim..
FYI, my simcard is 64K..
(the weird thing is, i use the simcard to old nokia phone, and dont have this kind of problem... sweat.gif )
