huh, i never know about his fan club lol..

yeah, CelcomBlue Prepaid is not really attractive.. i wish they could offer better plan. they said want to restore their market share within klang valley with this plan, but i would say that will be a failure project.

by the way, i am a celcom fan..

currently, im using the following services from celcom

- Celcom Postpaid Minutes Plan C250 (to migrate to executive plan soon)
- Celcom Prepaid U.O.X (this is on my 2nd handphone)
- Celcom Broadband D68 (attached to C250) so i can surf both on handphone and laptop
- Celcom Postpaid 1+5 (so far, only sign up one supp. line)
- Celcom Prepaid Xpax Mid Plan (used since 2003, but no more active)

Contributing ARPU,

Postpaid Services - RM70 to RM80 per month
Prepaid Services - RM50 per month
Data Services - RM68 (fixed) per month
Roaming Services - RM0 per month
Add-ons Services, including downloads, CMT, News, etc - RM5 to RM10 per month

since the credit advance menu available in both 118 and 119 so i guess, to request credit in advance,

*118# is for normal xpax or UOX users.
- go to My Prepaid
- select Credit Advance
- select Request Advance

*119# is for celcomblue users.
- go to Prabayar CelcomBlue
- select Servis Tambahan
- select Credit Advance
- select Minta Kredit RM2

I am in Melaka and no problem with 3g or mms... everything just fine. Maybe the problem occurred at certain place.

I also experienced the same with my Xpax. Apparently, if I wanted to call my parents, the first or second time got disconnected with no voice could go through. Very short duration roughly 10 secs.

weird problem.. so far its never happen to me yet.. icon_rolleyes.gif

hey guys, finally celcom put this coverage checker at their broabdand site..
visit http://www.celcom.com.my/broadband

and the coverage info is very details.. its cover on every single street, with related info including signal type (hsdpa, 3g, or gprs). the figure used also nice.

here is the direct link to the coverage maps.

for me, celcom blue is not attractive. yeah, some people love that 20pax favourites number.. but for me, 8 is more than enough. my previous 8pax list, only register 2 number.

because i dont have specific favourite number to call/sms. i dont know why. my favourite number is my gf only haha..

unless, celcom allow us to register up to 500 numbers, and that number is not a celcom number only.. so i can add everyone in my phonebook lol

8pax - Good friends... a handful is more than enough  icon_rolleyes.gif

the problem is, i dont have any special or specific group of favourite contacts. that is why i dont care on how much they offer 8pax or 20pax. i prefer cheaper flat rates to everyone. but dont mind, since im celcom postpaid user, and also a UOX user.

in conclusion, for me normal xpax is better than celcom blue

just dial *118#, choose My Prepaid.. and next, choose Credit Validity.. since the menu available at *118# also, not *119# onlye then no need to change plan i guess..

guys... how did u know about this promo... cant find any on celcom website or *118#

edited: typo
*
this is what celcom called 'suprise bonus'.. there will be no promotion, usually only ads on the day of bonus, or notification sms to users, or on their website on the same day.. thats all. i still remember, the similiar bonus during hari raya last year, during depavali, during hari raya haji, during christmas.. and for 2007, during chinese new year, during general election day, during world telecomunication day, and now they still giving similiar bonus for hari raya..

QUOTE(emiwy @ Sep 30 2008, 10:14 PM)
i was wondering. anyone having difficulties sending sms using celcom?
i know they say they wont be having delivery reports and all during this festive season, but i cant receive/send smses. -__-
*
no problem so far. i sms all my fren (in my phonebook) its about almost 300 numbers just to wish happy hari raya lol..

by the way, i got this info.. not sure wether it is true or not

To all celcom postpaid customer
Free video call and MMS to all celcom numbers on 1/10/2008 and 2/10/2008

haha, just received my airtime bonus just now.. RM20 cash (in term of prepaid - without validity), but becoz im UOX user, validity is not important since my expiry date is 2012...

i still remember, last year.. i reload rm100 becoz want to get free airtime rm50. but this year, the maximum bonus only rm20 for reload rm50, rm100, and rm200..

trust me, if they offer higher airtime bonus for higher denomination reload.. i'll go for it..

thanks celcom.

Is the celcom prepaid still offer 10% bonus credit when reload RM50 air time?

not anymore, they had replace reload bonus with monthly bonus.. they accumulate the total usage everymonth and the bonus will be credited into ur account automatically.. however, the bonus is too litle. sad.gif

Most probably if your 2600 can detect the network well, shouldn't be the sim/network problem. Try to re-insert it into NK 6120C then go to Menu => Setting => Network => Mode : Dual Mode; Search network : manually, then select My Celcom.
*
but he said no problem with other simcard.. could be the sim problem i think..

by the way, what are u doing at 5am in the morning? not sleep eh.. lol.. or maybe u're currently not in Malaysia..
