QUOTE(Hyde`fK @ Aug 1 2006, 12:00 AM) i know that. thats why i said, if u wanna run E6600 on ds3, then when oc u need to use 8x since it got problem with 9x (some of them) so it just like u r running E6400 with 4mb cache.. i hope u got my point |

Guess E6600 would go better with Bad Axe or the Asus P5W DH Deluxe. Both are equally pricey.

QUOTE(DaRkSyThE @ Aug 1 2006, 04:44 PM) hhhmmm u noe, i tot u wud had gone for the X6800:p x6800 is way too expensive for me dude.. if i buy that, i have to eat maggi for the rest of the year u are liek the org kaya of LYN man! hehe anyways, back to the board, i still feel asus is doing slightly better, but it needs abit of mods here and there. so i guess thats the turn off,. and the price of course. killer btw i was considering between E6400 and E6600, bcoz the extra 2mb cache was really interesting but then when i read review comparing 2mb vs 4mb core 2 duo, the real time difference is too little to make it worth rm400 extra. So i decided to buy E6400 but then no stock. So had to buy E6300 which i am really satisfy now |

E6400? Is it because of the extra x8 multi? I think you'd better gone with the E6600 straight away if the extra 2MB is really kickin off
