just for unifi users:

there are now upgrade packages from vip5/vip10/vip20 to unifi30 and unifi50 at minimum additional cost.

my case:
vip10 rm199 w/megapack -> unifi30 rm219 w/megapack
+6% gst, of course.

for rm20 more, i now have 30 mbps upload but upload is reduced to 5 mbps only.

faster download speed is great for multi video streaming and torrenting! thumbup.gif

Hi, I tried watching a 1080p movie from popcorn time but no available free space on disk error comes out. How do I fix this? Is there any way to increase the internal storage ? I have 2.95GB storage available. Thanks

There are two way to check your free space in flash memory :

1). Goto Setting -> Storage, you will see the free space and occupied space.

2). Goto ES Explorer -> SD Card Analyst, from here you have more detail of which folder occupied the space and sort by the folder size as below :
Attached Image

Just delete those temp files or cache files, typically the Kodi temp files occupied the space. Q16 Quad Core should have 9GB of free space of flash memory.

Ok. So when I click sd card analyst, it shows android size 3.48 GB and show box 2.41 GB. How do I delete the tempt files? Do I go to kodi app to clear cache? And what about show box?

Ok so I figured out how to delete the files. So I should only delete the temp and cache files, right.

Yes, should delete only the temp or cache files. If you have downloaded the movies and want to keep the movies, please move it to permanent storage such as Pendrive or Portable HDD. You can delete or move the files directly from ES Explorer.

You may want to check the settings in yr popcorn, see if u unknowingly unchecked the box for clearing cache folder upon exit. That will mean the movie file stays there.

Same with kmediatorrent in kodi if u set to keep the files. By default, it doesn't.

There should be at least 6gb free space, good enough for all popcorn stuff.

For me, the biggest space is taken up by backup restore app and the data folder of kodi.

are u using this kemediatorrent addon in kodi? if u did not enable it, never used it, it is not relevant.

if u had enabled it, it does not keep the files by default. it only does that if u had gone settings/addons/video addons/configure to tick the "keep the file upon exit". kemediatorrent works like popcorn but is not as easy to use. however, it can offer better quality video and audio like 1080p dts or dd5.1

Ok. I don't think I have that on kodi. I have problems with 1 channel, though. Keeps saying cannot connect to primewire. Any ideas to get around it?

about kodi...

1 channel/primewire has a lot of problems, being blocked and sued by uk gomen - can forget this one. biggrin.gif

for video on demand (vod), try genesis which is reasonable.

there was a great addon called iptv stalker. sad news is this one has gone paid iptv service, not working on kodi anymore.

the next best iptv addon is bbts.

check xbmc/kodi matters in the thread. kodi takes time to learn how it all works:
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3139601/+2060

actually, my experience with kodi... it is a very powerful platform, impressive, endless possibilities. but over time, i can see many other simpler apps have improved. to the extent that the stuff i used to get in xbmc/kodi i can get them faster and easier elsewhere.

e.g.

english... tvapp.so (with chinese), popcorn, moviehd, mobdro.

chinese... puding, hitv, imgtv (mangotv).

there is more than i can watch!! biggrin.gif

Mine TVAPP.SO didn't work either after upgrade.

I have to upgrade to 1.1.5 as if I don't do it, I won't be able to use it.

Also still learning how to use Kodi, am still looking for a working "Disney Junior" channel and Taiwan channels.

Disney Junior could be found in Kodi addons, Taiwan free channels are very rare. I subscribed to CloudTV for Taiwan Channels.
