my 5 minute thought fix on raiment 3rd set bonus:
every 5 seconds lightning strikes a random enemy within 30yd radius for 1000% weapon damage (or lightning, since 2nd set bonus is 15% lightning anyways)

2nd set bonus has to be 20 or 25%, else people are better off going hats like eye of the storm.

how's this? can hire for job mou?

or hey, you want monk to be LIGHTNING FAST to suit the set aye?

3rd set piece allows ALL spirit generator to teleport to enemy within 10 yd and upon target hit, launches chain lightning that hits up to 3 targets for 500% dmg on first target, 250% on second and 100% on 3rd.

or maybe +10% movement speed that goes over the movement speed cap, and at random between 3-5 seconds /5-10yd movement lightning nova pulses from the monk for 500% or 1000% dmg

man spend 10 more minutes on brainstorming many "simple" solutions also can come out aye?

Hello, Monks!

I've been keeping a close eye on this thread (and others) so when it came time to talk a little bit about patch 2.0.5, and the future of Monks, this seemed like a good place to do it. I’ve updated the posting limit in this thread, so feel free to keep it alive.

I'd like to start by pointing out that patch 2.0.5 wasn’t really intended to focus much on class balance when it first was scheduled, but there were some circumstances that resulted in it including a lot of class changes, particularly for the Crusader. The Crusader is not only the newest class in Diablo III (and a big feature of Reaper of Souls), but was in a state that (we felt) merited some immediate tuning and balancing, so 2.0.5 did end up featuring a lot of Crusader changes.

That said, while 2.0.5 didn’t include many changes to Monks, it doesn’t mean we feel there isn’t room for improvement (or that your feedback has fallen on deaf ears). Instead, we have many changes planned for patch 2.1.0, which is our first big content patch for Reaper of Souls and first big opportunity to do some meaningful evaluations for each class, Monk included.

I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on feedback while the 2.1 PTR is going on, and see where things are after that set of changes. We're not done yet, that's for sure.

- Dex = Armor, nerf OWE, buff generators from 10%-100% (FoT), buff Sweeping wind by 200%, 7SS proc

Another broken gamebreaking build. TR flurry stacks infinitely which 100×260% = 26000%. The latest vid shows stack of 300... no one tried t6 yet but I'm sure someone's going to figure a way around it.

Viable for Torments up to T6. Fist of Az will boost the explosion by up to 100% thus can get up to 12k% weapon damage.

However, not viable for greater rifts as on you reach G25 above mobs have too much health hence to kill a white mob will take too long.

Wave of Light Now deals 960% weapon damage (up from 605%), followed by an additional 125% weapon damage (up from 79%) to enemies in a line.

Empowered Wave : Has been fully changed: Now seems to increase damage dealt, but the strings show the same values as the new unruned skill.
