You have missed my point totally. Didnt really understand your logic tho. First you were the one who complain hasbro scalp ppl. But then you are perfectly okay with them producing mediocre work and sell at premium.

Off topic, we arent blaming on the workers tho. Its not within our power how the workers should be treated. Though my personal view is that it is perfectly reasonable for hasbro to treat their labor better considering how much profit the consumers is contributing to them.

Thing is bro, TRU is not taking any losses. They passed the risk to the buyers.

If it is true that they resealed opened boxes and resells the mixed and matched items, TRU has the duty to inform customers of this.

My "speculation" :

Perhaps the toy is already no longer MISB albeit the box looks new. Where did all the leftovers clearanced HAsbro Grimlock go ? All sapued effectively ? Or some returned back to Hasbro , taken out from the box, and reboxed again in this current box by the workers ? (hence the chipped off paintjob during such process).

The box might be fresh and new, but the toy is no longer mint.

That could be possible, but does not add up due to the lack of paint apps of the new MP Grimmy compared to the original Hasbro MP Grimmy.

It kind of hard to believe that Hasbro took out the toys, made the effort to erase the paint apps and reboxed the whole package.

You are the one who have totally missed the point.My point is there shouldn't be a difference whether you're paying RM5 or RM50.Secondly since when did I back up Hasbro for producing mediocre work and selling at premium price?Read carefully I was saying they are paying chicken feed to their workers to produce mediocre to be sold to customers for premium price.Something like RM50 restaurant buying from RM5 foodstall to sell at RM50.

Also,I wasn't complaining about Hasbro scalping us but more on how ignorant we are when we talk about small scalpers here and there but then choose to pay these big scalpers.But that point is moot since someone pointed out that the original price in US is supposed to be USD150.

I dont think u will accept the toys where the tail having 3cm chrome popping up like a bubble inside it... n the paint chip on the sword is roughly 2cm... unless u dont mind to bring it to repaint and pay again after having ur pocket burn.. i m giving advice to whoever intend to get one... peace ^^

cant complain about the price, their products and they see potential for selling even at that price .. they go for it .. just hope for price cut in future as happened to mp prime, soundwave n acidstorm before ..

and if you guys concern of the boxes being open when planning to purchase.. maybe just a small tip, check if the box has double tape or any sign has been opened ..

and last about the premium price and expected premium quality .. that's very subjective ... now a char kuey tiow analogy
ok, the roadside stall maybe selling a rm5 per plate.. but when u go a hotel example, they selling much higher price rm20 or more .. so u expect the hotel to be much tastier with good portion of meat, vege etc ... but instead, u get an ordinary same like stall selling .. the hotel didnt do any wrong ... it's their kuey tiow .. u cant feel cheated, that's how they cook their kuey tiow ..

price doesnt always about quality .. so, if later they decide to lower the price, 50% discount .. should they lower the quality or make it smaller..? this is business, the price they put to get profit .. we either help them or dont help them .. maybe what you pay, is equal to what they feel of its quality .. hasbro said, ok, for this quality of mp grimlock, we should put at this price.. and all the board agreed .. so who we are to said anything .. if we cant agree, dont buy their product.. and in future they see the sign, for sure there will be discount ..

Haha, it was actually Grimlock's feet...the voyager scaled oned doesn't look like that actually...not sure if it's the paint job who change the looks of it.

On the Galvatron, the backpack is still there, but the entire figure is heavily painted and so the backpack does not show that much.
