Think Unique Toys are aiming more toward CHUG collectors as their product are scaled better with this line of figures.

Anyway... got some "cute" hauls for the past week :

Feeling tempting to get this:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I cant find it anywhere in Malaysia though, other than a dodgy eBay seller. x2o toys doesnt sell it too.

How much was shipping though?

I dont really trust poslaju in delivering the product without destroying it though. I rather find a store and buy straight from them.

Famitoy said they are stocking both Assault Force and Warden but till now, they still dont have stock.

Thats Perfect Effect PE-12 Assault Force X.

Should be around RM300 but they are really tiny though. The engineering is pretty damn amazing though.

I never bought a third party so at the moment it is either Maketoy's Chaos/Paladin or PE's Assault Force X as my first purchase to third party. I think it is better to get something slightly cheaper than buying a third party RM500+ figurine outright.

To me, Assault Force is better if I have to choose between the two.

But there are other third party figures out there which are better than these two. For example, fanproject's function series

robotkingdom's packaging is quite solid, they will use styrofoam to pad the insides of the carton, so your items should be quite safe.

as for the shipping, you can see the shipping quote before you place the order.

Honestly i was expecting more.. most add ons have costed equivalent of the class it provides the add on to.. maybe i'm particularly biased because it makes prime look badass
Maybe its because i keep thinking back to previous add ons providing a head or some small thing costing the same as a deluxe tongue.gif
Sorry, not really into these add ons market since i'm not that much into spending a whole lot if money for minimal change

Assault Force is cool because I dont think any other third party does Reflector. And the engineering is pretty cool. My only problem is the size which is damn small.

Coming from diecast collector background, I do appreicate the extra polish PE does for their transformers.

What would you recommend from Fans Project? What is the Function series known for?

I am not too keen of combiners or really expensive ones.

fansproject function series is their take on the G1 Headmasters.

+1 for the Function series. Small but amazingly engineered headmasters with probably the best build quality I've ever seen on any TF.

(Also pretty damn expensive for what you get.)

Can't wait for Sigma.

I think I'll pass. They are really good transformers but I think PE and Maketoys products will suit me better.

I don't really want to collect a series as I know I won't be able to resist the temptation to find and collect all. Kinda avoiding the Dinobots combiners for the same reason. They look damn good though. sad.gif

If you are coming from diecast genre, bear in mind PE Reflector is so damn light :-) But i do like the details and the huge amoount of arsenals. Old pix :-
