QUOTE(LVL1NiNjA @ Jul 5 2014, 09:55 PM) Well, I'm using only SPM qualification. Like you said, my approach is to get whatever job that I am hired for. What's next in my career there comes later. I am actually plan to work at an environment where I don't need to interact with people. I have been in customer service from my first career and I am thinking of a change now. My aunt is kind enough to spare me a room for few months first, after I'm stable I will definitely move out and get my own place. since you have only SPM, my advice for you is to look for those job with slightly more labor intensive instead of sitting comfortably in the office. Maybe look for offshore or shipyard kinda work. A bit of risk taking but you will get a set of special skill / experience which grads do not have. Hunt for that advantage. customer service is a dead end. period This post has been edited by Mackiddo: Jul 5 2014, 11:52 PM

QUOTE(the100308 @ Jul 6 2014, 06:50 PM) Guys, was wondering, on the 25th July, plan to take bus to go back from SG to KL. Understand that the traffic condition will be bad right after work, would it be okay if I take the bus and leave SG at 11pm? sometimes the jammed will extend all the way up to wee hours, 1am or 2am. So, makes no different.

VEP rm50 or even rm100 is nothing to those who stay in Marehsia and drive Sg car to work. COE S$60k also can afford to pay, what is this small VEP amount.

QUOTE(sporean82 @ Jul 17 2014, 05:03 PM) Urgently want to ask... anyone here had baby born in sg ? when applying for PR for baby, did you submit the following document ? Employer’s letter from sponsor and applicant (if applicable) stating the date of employment, position held, salary per month for the last 6 months with breakdown into basic, overtime and allowance per month (see item 7 below). The letter, addressed to the Controller of Immigration, should be dated within 1 month from the date of submission. can't remember if I did but any problem getting the letter ?

QUOTE(re_freako @ Jul 27 2014, 01:20 PM) One thing to take note do not complain tired for Malaysian wanted to working in sin. If you want to get promoted, they always expect to pay you this level work title but expect you to work 2 level higher task. Besides you do not get currypuff life style that much during working hour as compared to Malaysia. Those who do it and still surviving well may be their eyeball is blue in colour just remember your blood is not royal or the next inline during recession. No free lunch in this effective society It's common here in MNC.nope, it's not common here in MNC. Definitely not the place I work. But then, probably you work in a bigger MNC.

QUOTE(manoj84 @ Aug 7 2014, 04:57 PM) Hi Guys, I have been offered a job with a MNC company in Singapore. I do not have degree or diploma. Only Professional Cert and 9 years working experience. As per the HR of the company, it seems Work Permit is very hard to be approved because I don't have degree or diploma. Is this correct? Not bad already, can join MNC. Yeah, it's harder to get WP for those who do not have degree or diploma but fret not, some of us also do not have that (me included ), but still surviving in Sg. Well, good luck !

Trying to ask mr. google but can't get what I want to know. Like... Can I stay in SG for half a year continuously or even one whole year? EP can stay as long as you want, as long it's still valid.
