Btw... Anyone here familiar with PEB (Professional Engineer Board) in SG? Any idea whether they accept M'sian Degree or not. From their website, I read that any degree under their own region/country accredited by their own board is recognised. For M'sia, it's BEM. I'm sure my degree is recognised by BEM but is it recognised by PEB?

Even my hubby who has this professional engineer license I still think he is a laborer same class with the mangala workers. My company provide funds for projects, during meetings with those professionals, developer, architect, engineer, contractor, bla bla bla, they look all same to me, people who get the job done, same like the carpenter who do my closet, no people at my side really care what certification they have and how hard to get it.

Typical in every engineering work. No matter what color, position and skills still have to bend over to let the client bang us.

Then bring you out at site to cook and work a little more then bring back to office to bang again.

Guys. How is the traffic condition from Singapore to JB in the morning? And JB to Singapore in the afternoon?

What's your position? I thought anyone that need to go into site have to attend safety course? Either CSOC for workers or BCSS for supervisors.

So you everyday at site one? Consultant side Means? Scare contractor do not good, you go there monitor quality along with main con's site supervisor?
Not sure about you but my safety officer, if anyone will station/work at site, he will ask for BCSS course cert and keep a photocopy for documentation purpose.

Well what to expect for a guy being paid SGD 1-2 dollar an hour. lol. well at least i could make use of the 250 and split by 10. At least i know the welder have plenty to spare. lol.

I honestly know these guys are way underpaid, so i expected monkey results on my stuff. Those shipyard guys knew i was laughing like hell at those not knowing the difference between 250 mm and 25mm.

Apparently Korean welders are one the bloody best in the world, even Australia knows it. We use to send our pipes there for really expensive welding control valves, just cant afford to f*** it up when we can buy a Ferrari with one valve.

Hi, can somebody recommend me places in SG to buy safety shoes?..if can are there any places where there are lots of hardware shop situated together so i can make my purchase easier? Coz im still not familiar in SG. THxzzz. BTW im looking for something like this:
This safety shoes are like half safety and half hiking shoe...i dread wearing those old traditional all black steel toe safety shoe..too ugly n uncomfortable...
