Just tried Assasin's Creed 4 Black Flag.

Wow, never thought the R9 290 is running below 60fps on max settings and 4x MSAA.

Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider, etc
So many games demanding GPU power even on 1080p.

you do know AC series have bad graphic optimisation? theyre graphics are not exactly that impressive either

as for Crysis 3, the AA settings murders everything, otherwise should have no prob

FC3... i dunno abt this, but another badly optimised Ubisoft game afaik. i cant max it out either

Tomb Raider is fine for me, provided i dont open TressFX. a single swish of her hair makes my FPS drop

as for ac4 you guys could try this setting
shadow - very high
goodray - low
environment - high
aa - 2msaa/smaa/fxaa

not much impact on eye candy, l can stable 60fps except smokes which l duno why

im sure max setting and 4 x Msaa the visual is Superb... and very sure is playable with ur Rig ... (not yet play AC4) i think Average 35FPS is playable for me la

im gaming on 19-25Fps Average... i still enjoy game (BF4 and Theif with mantle i receive 30+ average ) i think i really need Sec TriX to improve my Gaming Experience

Guys i plan to buy Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X to crossfire with my ref card, i noticed that 290 Tri-x is running higher core clock & ram speed higher than ref card, if i cf both cards the system will run at lower speed, shouldn't be any incomparability issue right?

no it be okay bro... i upload benchmark on Valley/3Dmark/Heaven(3-4 month ago) previous AMD Threads i Cross TriX R9 290X with Reference R9 290X they seem to performance OKAY except Heat come from Reference... so i recommend get Custom Fan ... u should sorted all heat issues plus set Custom OC with TRIXX software... to balance out Gpu... AND YES it should not be an Issues of incompatibility u can BF4 in 120FPS may get more with mantle lolz

well kinda make sense... they see their competitor out dual gpu with AIO see the design good, then they slap their cooler designer say "Why don't U think about Adding AIO on Dual Gpu!? then we can price it 5,000US dollar! because is NVIDIA!" lolz

Yeah, the graphics is actually quite awesome. Alot better than Far Cry 3's graphics. It only lacks high resolution textures.

If it's gonna happen that NVidia is gonna make a GTX790 with Liquid Cooling..i think the price would be..4-5K.

Has just install a 2nd 290 to my pc, however when i check the 2nd card temp info in GPU=Z, there is nothing info stated, may i know how to fix this?

*Update: I found the answer, need to enable CF inside CCC.
